I ended up dating a girl who bought me a shot from across the bar. I was so surprised because I had never experienced it from the other end before, so I actually went over to introduce myself and thank her. She bought me another drink later that night after we exchanged numbers. A few nights later, while in bed together, it came out that she didn't actually buy me the drink! Apparently she had been telling her friend she was too nervous to approach me, so the bartender (who was a friend of mine) poured me a shot and said it was from "the blonde across the bar." I had told her I never would have approached her had she not bought me that shot. So, to that bar tender, you were the greatest wingman I ever had. Thank you!

A lot of men don't feel like they're good enough for women. Ever since i was young i Always remember being rejected by girls and women and its so damaging to your mind. Many people feel desperate and to all the guys that feel that way, i wish we could be gym buddies, work out and BBQ a steak afterwards. We gotta stick together and build comradery again instead of feeling so alone. As a Christian, i see my local church fail to band the brothers together, and i believe its up to the rest of us to fix these problems. Women join forces all the time. Lets do the same. Like the phoenix that rises out of the ashes, lets change men's culture to be stronger, better, and mentally healthier 💪

I lost my wife who was my best friend in the whole world. Now I'm back in the dating world and I am abstinent, telling women "no" to sex has been a really unique experience. Sadly my experience is that it's been difficult to find a woman who respects herself enough for my standards.

@@jossell911 i reflected on my comment this past day, the white knight injonction that is so much thrust into us when we're young is so much responsible for all this i suspect. I stumbled upon a video of Matthew Hussey, where he says his mother raised him to be a perfect gentleman with girls, and he says they MAUUUULED him in high school. I thought "this is so sad....so exruciatingly sad", that you're raised to be this perfect man your mother and grandma taught you to be and in response you are MAULED, taken advantage of by girls...As i type this i realise it probably means you're also taken advantage of by your mother and grandma, you're definitely flattering their egos that's for sure. I raised boys. You bet I taught how to be gentleman. There is nothing wrong with teaching them to protect and provide. Women are the fairer sex if you will. Not as strong physically. You guys want to drop the white knight because it takes effort. If you want to be the leader in the family sorry but this what you have to do. If you don’t want to lead them her masculine energy will kick in at some point and god knows that’s not pretty. Someone needs to lead in the healthy household. Just my 2 cents.

Personally, I seldom tell a woman flat out "NO"; I'd rather ask her questions, such as: how is that fair to both of us, or what makes you think that I should do that? Let her explain herself, let her justify her motives. Engage the conversation by challenging her, while at the same time leaving the door upon for a continued conversation. It has worked for me, and I believe that women appreciate that approach.

I have learned that, when he talked about they have to earn it, same goes for giving gifts to a woman, don't do it for her attention, do it to reward good behavior and/or great shared experiences; do not give her a gift just because you want her attention. If you guys are in a relationship and you happen to think of her and you pick something up because you know she would like it, that is a little bit different than when you are just dating and think it'll help her choose you. Seem like I became her part time bf with no bf label or exclusive as she said she got use to life without me and she would go shopping on her own and she dont need me there anymore. The " Honey Good morning" " Honey Good Nite Kiss" no more daily text and soon after last sunday intimacy she didnt text me for 4 straight days .. what should I do ? I will be meeting her tomoro is Thursday. I guess I will get her body(sex) but her heart(love) is gone ...though she kept saying she love me always but those love me as a bf and all for herself is gone...she no longer feel jealous as she told me to find another gf and dont invest time on her. Should I be patient to slowly re attract her because to walk away to get her back does not work even after I did 3month of No contact didnt make her Ready to get back our 7 years Long term relationship

She said I'll have a vodka and red bull, as soon as she got the drink she walked away from me which didn't impress me at all. I got my tequila shot and downed it, after that I went after the girl I bought the drink for, said excuse me and took the drink I bought for her out of her hand and downed that too, then handed her back the empty glass 🤣

This also doesn’t just apply to reciprocation of financial investment but reciprocation of emotions, words and actions too. Money and drinks aside, ask yourself what emotional/spiritual/mental value does this person have to offer in exchange for mine. I can say that one of the most painful things is being in a relationship where your love and energy doesn’t feel like it’s being reciprocated in the way that you deserve.

*"what emotional/spiritual/mental value does this person have to offer"* that's a very dangerous idea road to be headed down - Easily 90% of women don't have value to offer a man's life besides their ability to bear his offspring. The ones that do bring value are instantly snatched up and wifed immediately (as they should), but even the remaining valueless ones are drowning in a sea of desperate thirsty male attention and simps. It doesn't make a difference if you can stand out to a girl who has a huge chance of not adding value to your life when she is seeing so many new faces every day and learning so many new names that she can hardly remember any of them.

A confident man moves decisively - he knows he has value and doesn't have to wait for the perfect moment because he's "enough" and also his time is valuable. BUT - you're going to give her YOUR number? NO! You are going to ask for HERS. See my first line - you are ENOUGH! That's the high value move. If you give her your number you are basically communicating that you don't think she'll give her yours. LACK OF CONFIDENCE!!!!!!!!! Plus you are putting the next move, for her to call you, into her hands. Women are indecisive, don't give them the power of a soft rejection. Approach this girl, talk to her for 3-5 minutes and then test her attraction to you by looking her in the eye and giving her a firm number ask. "I'd like to take you for a cup of coffee soon, so we can talk and get to know each other a bit better, please give me your number." And then STFU. She'll give it to you or she won't, but that's the strong move, and women like strong men.

I found it funny how both Courtney and Darius possessed the same overall message but the way Darius expresses it is so different. I don't think I have ever heard Courtney refer to anyone as "beta males" 😂. Different audiences I guess. I'm not the type of person who talks about these issues in the same way he does, which is why I watch Courtney's videos, but I appreciate the message nonetheless.

I appreciate these kinds of vids, Courtney, as "Inceptionish" as they tend to be. Women don't often cover topics that men want to know, or often don't seem to completely understand why we want to know them. Yet I'm generally pretty leery of men who try to tell us what women want or what their motivations are(and sometimes they're badly focused, like the last half of this one). This format gives us a much clearer picture.

In times where people have access to each other through internet, it feels like they are going crazy like they discovered a treasure and don't know what to do with it...because at the end of the day you are going to settle for one man/women. This was spot on, Courtney. Most women do not respect most men, and telling a woman no if she asks you to buy her a drink is a very easy way to put your foot down and show you're worthy of her respect. I've actually had women buy me drinks before and turn them down. A- I don't want women buying me drinks, ever. B- I don't want a random woman at a bar to feel entitled to my time.

I still remember the first time i told a woman no some years ago. She blew up in my face over it. She seemed almost disgusted. I found it extremely amusing and still do. And really the only reason I said no is because i was busy doing something else. Her time wasn't that important to me, but the rude and shocked response left a mark on me. Not for the gaining of respect from women but to see if a woman can handle rejection in a humble manner.

Courtney, I have been married 33+ years. I have, much to my emotional detriment, come to understand that everything with my wife is some sort of transaction. Everything. The harsh awakening was that, maybe a decade ago, I realized what I had been taught about women needing to talk before intimacy (I need you to infer a bit here) was necessary for the woman to relax and enjoy said intimacy. But, every time it seemed to be about getting things the way she wanted them and my obligation to do so. Very subtle. Don’t think she consciously knows she was doing it. Just hard-wiring…. This is where it ties in with this video content. Are women’s relational motivations only transactions? Is this why prostitution is called, “The Oldest Profession”? I use to think it was supply and demand which initiated this, but now I’m not so sure women initiated this, exploiting men. Heart wrenching to ponder, Anyway, that’s was when ED started and has maintained. Knowing she didn’t really want to be with me, just doing a transaction. Very hurtful. I try to watch most your content, but would you be willing to get an MD, or Psychiatrist, involved and address this honestly. I think very little about ED has to do with physiology but I don’t think anyone of influence is willing to speak honestly about it. Your thoughts? Or, if you’ve addressed this before can you give me the link? Thanks,

_Some sort of transaction._ So you were expecting her to get aroused for sex in a matter of seconds?! *OF COURSE IT'LL SEEN TRANSACTIONA!!!* It takes about ten minutes to start getting aroused for foreplay, y'know. And yes, all the dirty/sweet intimate talk is needed during foreplay.

Ashamed to say that I have been guilty of this in the past year - buying a woman a drink when she hasn't done anything for me. One time, after I had bought this one woman a few drinks (and on a few of those occasions she had asked me to), I asked HER to buy me a drink. She refused, and in a "what kind of question was that?!" tone of voice. I'll admit, I did it to see if she was worth those drinks I had already bought her and if I should ever buy her another one in the future. I had my answer, and never bought her another drink, even when she asked. This was back in January. Now when women ask me to buy them drinks, I typically say to them "why?" or "I'll think about it" or something to avoid buying them the drink then and there. Most of the time, they then they buy their own drinks 😂 Bottom line: I learned my lesson, after having made some facepalm-worthy mistakes.

I had an interesting realization watching this. Women are subconsciously looking for security (emotional and physical). Security relies on having established boundaries. Yes, they try to walk over the boundaries because they NEED to know that they are real. Be consistent and maintain your boundaries and they will either respect you or leave (and if they are the type that leaves, they are ultimately saving YOU a lot of future heartache).
