“Red Dwarf has a hall of heroes?” Bold of you to assume that Rimmer didn’t make it himself, of himself.

i know I'm quite off topic but does anybody know a good place to watch newly released tv shows online?

@@gabrieljohnny7237 uhhhh on-demand sites of the channel, if the show was made for tv, will usually have then there. If it's made for stream you can just torrent them.
You know, I like that the episode doesn't show Rimmer's self loathing and how he doesn't get along with himself because after The Beginning, he would have a better self esteem. It's showing of his character development that having multiple of him around no longer has the problem it used to. Or at least that's how I read into it. I must have missed that line explaining how the clones would have done whatever he ordered if Rimmer was their commanding officer.
I'm sorry, but the barbershop quartet of Rimmers was gold.
7:27 Love the one Rimmer looking pissed at having to be a waiter.
Yeah, another decent episode. Any Red Dwarf fan should be watching this channel's content.
Red Dwarf, Dr Who or Quartermass; the best british scifi always had horror at the core.
Do you ever think that Chris Barrie gets tired of doing the multi-man episodes? Rimmer is normaly the person being cloned or having an alternate version hanging around. It's probably fine when it's just one clone or Ace in the episode, but when you have so many Rimmers walking around, that's a lot of scenes of just Chris all by himself.
I didn't expect a reference to John Carpenter's The Thing
If you watch the officer club scene again and listen to the background, the tune is The Rimmer Song slowed down
Okay, this episode looks like a ton of fun as I was laughing from the clips shown in this video. And that abrupt ending is actually pretty badass! We don't need to see the aftermath, we don't even need to see Rimmer be humiliated further: What matters is that Rimmer lures the Bio-Rimmer abomination into a death trap, Lister utters a pretty awesome remark, and they kill the damn thing. And it's utterly [genuinely] badass to watch in action. "You better make room for one other thing on that list." "And what's that?" "DYING!" [pew pew] *Red Dwarf theme intensifies*
You really think Rimmer would learn from Rimmerworld after cloning himself but I really guess he didn’t learn

The ending is a little weak, but still a very fun Rimmer episode

Literally this. I found it a very funny episode, but just a little weak in what it actually contributes.
It was a good episode, but I felt the ending was far too abrupt. Like there should've been a little more payback against Rimmer to close the episode.
This episode was funny. Classic Rimmer, so up himself lol
That rimmer suddenly was in danger was an inconsistency the size of Mars. His hard light drive should have made him completely invulnerable to gunfire and being absorbed.
I always thought they could do so much more with the Rimmer monster if they had the budget to pull it off. You know how when you get a paper jam while making tons of copies, the same image gets plastered on the same page several times. Well, imagine if Rimmer's torso got copied over and over again on the same body, making a long Rimmer centipede with hundreds of arms as it's legs. That would've been really funny and creative instead of a blob monster.
Fun episode, though I’m not a fan of the abrupt ending. I was expecting one more gag to cap it off.
Is it even possible to absorb the real Rimmer? I know his system lets him actually touch things now but he's not even made of the same materials as the clones. If they are capable of absorbing something that isn't even genetically compatible with them, what else could they theoretically absorb into their form?
My Theory: In a tribute to Napoleon, Officer Rimmer is shorter than Crewman Rimmer. I know the real Napoleon was pretty average height-wise, but still...
6:19 Wow the 'dollarpound' gets brought up again for the first time since season 4 as far as I remember... I think the writers were trying to imply that maybe British and American culture merges to some extent in the future since people are now living in space... Just a personal theory.
I liked this episode, I think they missed a potential gag though. "make a stronger braver version of me!" They could have made an Ace Rimmer cameo!!!!!

Good point XD Hell, *I* could have made a joke about that if I'd thought of it.

Could've been ace who saved the day, and because he's technically an officer (In another universe mind you) he could have demoted Arnold.
I wanted so bad that there would be an Easter egg in in Trojan regarding the call center jokes in that episode tying into this one, but eh, still a great joke
That Rimmer monster is strangely similar to something in Wreck It Ralph 2!
It's a Rimmer episode. 'Nuff said. Though I agree the ending is way too abrupt. I feel like something was cut for time.
Okay, but are we gonna talk about how the Rimmer Monster is basically SCP-001: When Day Breaks?
Well..... that's a foreboading episode title XD
Rimmerworld version 2
I liked this episode, then the ending happened. To quote Bottom, "Where's the rest of it?"
Red dwarf has mining torpedoes, must be pretty weak as they never use them.
The Rimmer monster reminds me of the Huddle from the game INSIDE
How would TV work without human interaction? Lemme introduce you to KZread.
Officer isn't a rank, that was driving me completely crazy!!! Rimmer is also not a member of the space corps, so he has no rank at all in the military.
In Lego Dimensions, the Bio Printer from this episode shows up in the final room the player can access in the secret Red Dwarf area. Depending on who you ask it might make a copy of Rimmer, but it's a little hard to tell since he doesn't say anything. Ethan Hunt can scan the character who may or may not be Rimmer and disguise himself to enter a security gate and release a minikit.
6:25 I wonder if that line gets cut on American broadcasts?
I’m guessing the reason the rimmers aren’t at each other’s throats is because of having his Negadrive drained

No "Hey-ho pip and dandy" moments =P
This is my favourite episode from Series 11, although I do tend to favour the Rimmer episodes. Chris Barrie, as always, was great and I have to praise what I don't doubt was a ton of work that went into creating the RImmer Monster. As with most others here, my only problem was with the abrupt ending (something that is a recurring problem this series IMO).
How does a hologram outrank a real human being?
Probably it just took so long for singials to transit across the distance or the ship records a whole lot of tv and then plays it back
I kinda want to see the series have a soft reboot
Kryton Attenbourough
You put captain rimmer not officer rimmer
To reply to your comment at 4:00, yeah, I'd watch that out of curiosity. I've watched weirder sports shows. Have you heard of the KZread channel called Jelle's Marble Runs? I first saw his videos on inter-dimensionalcable.xyz/ He produces "marble sport" videos and it's surprisingly popular. I mean, take a look at this. www.reddit.com/r/Marblelympics/comments/c79bjk/finally_got_everyone_together_for_2019/ Thinking about it now, I wonder what Lister and Cat would've made of it?

You posted this twice.

No ... it's only showing up once in my uploads list. Not sure why it's showing up as twice on your end, but there's only one instance of it from what I can see.
I am sorry, Cyborcat. I didn't find it that funny. It was almost a Rimmerworld clone. Rimmer should have guessed by now that too many of him is not a good thing. Of course, it is never known by fans, at least not me, whether this is the same Rimmer from Season 6 who left us to take over for Ace Rimmer, or the actual Rimmer from Season 8 who was killed again with the ship crew and revived as a hologram. If it was the latter of the two Rimmers, then he wouldn't know what the other one went through. Still, I didn't really like it. The Monster Rimmer was far too much. The many Rimmers were far too much. The old saying "you can't have too much of a good thing" even applies here to Rimmer.
nooo I thought I was firsr
