Glad to see you in action Mr. Mike! I bought mine from RPP Hobby and they sent it out to me Thursday. It does look really nice. I also bought their RTR 4Runner and Rc4wd did a good job on it too. Did you say that the 1987 has a clear coat finish on it? I read on hear about your kidney stones and I get them from time to time myself. I’ve had the lithotripsy treatment before. Sometimes I’ll pass them in my urine around 5mm. Thanks for sharing the video 👌

Yes sir the clear coat is amazing! I’ve been eying the 4runner myself but I have so many things going on and I own 4Runner that Rich from Turks and Jerps built so I have my 4runner fix. Kidney stones are absolutely awful, I chug water like it’s my job now and changed my diet so I’m hopeful that I don’t have to deal with it in the future.

They put together a great package with this truck. Your mods so far look great, I like the wheels. It's nice sharing the same taste in trucks with someone, whenever I see one of your trucks I always say to myself "yup that's perfect, that's what I'd too". Also, looks like you've lost some weight since your previous videos?

Thank you for noticing that ! I have made quite a few changes in my personal life. I was quite ill at the end of last year and had two 6-7mm kidney stones that had to be surgically removed through a lithotripsy process… NOT FUN… After that I changed my diet, started running 5-7 miles 2-3x or more a week, calorie counted etc and I am down over 50 lbs! Feeling much better these days.

@@MikesRCWorld it was the first thing I noticed, you can really see the difference in your face, good job! I also lost over 50 lbs a few years ago but I have gained some back, I need to get back at it and get the weight off again.

hey brother..i keep hearing the electronics the electronics..and i have a couple 1080 esc's on hand..my question is on the motor upgrade..i wanna stay brushed..and i have four motor's on hand i can use..which is the 21T & 27T Trailmaster 550 sport motor...and i have a 12T & 8T Crawlmaster sport 550 motor..i only do trail runs..and i just want that pop on the trails man..can u please help me on the best motor i can use on stock gearing outta the 4 i have??..i would love to use one of my trailmaster sport 550 can motors if possible...thanks brother...this is a part of the hobby im still trying to learn and soak up knowledge on...thanks so much for any feed back on my concerns and questions...

@@MikesRCWorld the marty mcfly truck..the rc4wd extra cab rtr...you just did a video on it and you changed the tires...in the stock form it comes with some basic electronics..and i know i wanna put a 1080esc inside and use my flysky transmitter..and maybe the servo but maybe i might try out the twister servo..my question is on the motor brother..i have a 21T & 27T Trailmaster sport 550 motor..and i just wanna know which motor outta the two, will give me the more wheel speed on the trail if i need it...??....i also have a 12T & 8T Crawlmaster sport motor 550 as well...if i go trailmaster is the 21T a more better option?or if i go crawlmaster sport will the 12T be the more better option..?......sorry man your like the only guy on youtube who did a video with the rtr extra cab i have coming on monday...any help is greatly appreciated

@@josecanseca8979 the lower the turn motor the more wheel speed you will have. Personally for me, and my past TF2 series of trucks I would a 35t with the 1080 hobby wing but I would run 3s lipo battery. Your voltage comes into play a lot with that. If your only using 2s I would try the 21t if you want more wheel speed.

@@MikesRCWorld i do have a 2s and 3s lipo....yea the 21t it is brother...can i use the 3s with stock gearing..or should i use 2s...thanks sooooooooo much man..4real..you helped me out a lot..

@@josecanseca8979I Try the stock gearing for now, just keep an eye on motor temps but you should be okay. Like anything else, a lot of it is going to be preference.
