As ikit claw i had beastmen walking around my territory for 40 turns, they left and died 4 turns later... the longest i saw them survive

You pretty much need to ally with beastmen (referring to ikit campaign) and ultimately escort/babysit/hand feed them every win. Like sacking a settlement to allow them to raze or get a battle win, allow a retreat and let BM finish them off. I did this incidentally at first and decided to keep them around as a roaming meat shield, although I initially hoped they would be more than that . They may be good for a single battle win solo against a full, later tier unit army, but yeah, if you're not around to provide the assist, theyre fucked.

Imagine someone explaining to Franz that the defenders abandoned Altdorf to be razed because the goats were too stinky

That or Tomb Kings, imagine that AoE to annihilate the entire enemy army from having them disintegrate. Many (technical) kills on a zero damage spell.

Karak Kadrin does not fear your smelly stack, for we somehow have 4 full stacks of Slayers on one settlement!

Thats so funny, watching a whole entire garrison run away from beastmen... of all things... The stack is quite naughty indeed..

Its interesting to watch, but i see it being pretty boring to play for long if in every fight you just run down enemies.

Whenever a rating doom stack video comes up and it's under 15 minutes, you know this stack is really good.

I'm loving these hero stacks lately. People have been asking me to do the stinky Malagor stack for months. Good stuff. Also, if you put one rank into each aoe buff on the gorebulls you can get them to stack for even more broken high stats

There was once a game where I protected the beastmen until like 200+ turns. I literally made it my mission. Dude ended up running himself into Grimgor and immediately fucking himself. Sad day.

i try to protect the vampire counts and it never works mousilon always sends a necromancer with 4 10% hp zombie units on an adventure half way across the world instead of actually building an army up to conquer surrounding area

Today I learnt that Lightning Strike actually reduces leadership. I never cared to activate it when no enemy reinforcements were in range.

The best way to beat this Doomstack is to use assassin's and pick them off before the battle starts.

The problem is that assassin unit will have very low leadership. They will be very suspectible to routing. I say the best unit to defeat this is slayer spam.

@@goruu There is no routing on campaign map when you assassinate / wound the heroes before the battle. That is what he meant. Just use herospam on campaignmap to counter herospam army

The Vampire Counts can do this with Dread Incarnate, gives the -4 leadership along with cause Terror. They can only reach -80 leadership on the campaign map, and don't have quite as much morale reduction in their magic: a -16 and a -8. Fortunately you can put the trait on flying vampire heroes with spellcasting to focus down and break units more easily. The reduced head-on combat ability means that single-entity unbreakable units would be pretty tough.

Beastmen as are powerful in the battlefield as they are powerless in the world map

You can do this with vamp counts too, just stack heroes with Dread Incarnate in an army. The trait causes -4 leadership in region and gives terror.

So, to summarize: both beastmen and lizardmen can do it with similar results but with different approach, beastmen are better at flushing the enemy morale to the toilet and lizardmen are so strong to begin with that they don't even need to demoralize the enemy to win, but they can do it anyway just because. P. S. I'd like to see pompous spam vs. stinky spam. I think it would be quite hilarious to watch.

As a Lizardman player, I think Beastmen have it, thanks to the synergizing spells. There is the potential of taking a Light Slann specifically for the matchup, to make some units unbreakable, but that's the only real synergy I can think of for it. If, somehow, they wound up in melee, then Lizardmen would absolutely crush them, the morale damage a carnasaur charge does is pretty substantial.

Those Empire soldiers were reduced to slavering munted beasts before utter terror was driven into their hearts. It was at this moment that the gates shattered and a horde of beasts fell upon their munted quivering bodies. The flagellents go mental hitting themselves while sporting raging doom boners.

Who would've thought that the beastmen would be one of the most peaceful races. They just want a hug, but everyone is scared of their foul stink, so they'll just run away instead of getting killed. Unless, of course, they're unbreakable. In which case they'll be hugged to death.

This kind of doomstack might benefit from a warbeast army reinforcing with warhounds and harpies to harry retreating enemies.

This has so much cheese you could make fondue with it.

Giant slayer stack - at least if commanded by AI - will loose to this. Just cast 1 purple sun into the blob and the dwarves will loose half their army. Against another player who knows what he is doing this army will struggle.

I've never had the patience to build one of these stacks, or survived that long as Beastmen.

Legend you should do some updated tier lists.

"The End Times" mod made by "The Duke" makes Beastmen a lot of fun to play. Makes them very strong along with all other races.

How about a video with the best doomstack (in your opinion) for each faction?

I think the lizardmen pompous spam is better then this one because if you only recruit skink heroes, and mount them on stegadons, they will essentially function as the lizardmen stegadon spam doomstack, but also reduce enemy leadership to almost nothing.

In all seriousness if a Head to Head player tried to pull this on you, you can beat it on the campaign map by assassinating the heroes. Probably easier than having an unbreakable stack

this must be so fun against tomb kings or vampire counts/coast... haha

How do you pause in battle on legendary without causing a menu to pop up and freezing the battle UI?

Wonder if the Nurgle faction in Warhammer 3 are immune to fear of the Nurgle stink. It’ll be pretty funny either way: 1. Immune: Nurgle general: “Why are you trying to scare us away with *our* stink?” Beastman general: “I didn’t think this through.” 2. Not immune: Nurgle general: “Why are you running away? Are you maggots afraid of your own smell?” Nurgle soldiers: “Yes, that’s why we use deodorant you disgusting degenerate.”

Spooky ghost army indeed.

An upgrade for this doomstack is the "Bull abuse": need 8 gorebulls with the defensive and offensive auras (Strength of the land and Unrelenting Warherd). Each one needs a different level of the skill (I to IV) since they stack. Stats become insane.

I wanna try out the same thing with vampire counts but the closest I got is 7-8 heroes and a lord with -4 leadership each and I had just beat chaos by then

The only thing this stack would be bad at dealing with is unbreakable units, but for most factions they don't get a lot of them. Unless of course, you happen to be fighting Dwarfs, cause Karak Kadrin seems to really love spamming slayers, hell even other dwarf factions late game will try to have a number of slayers. Also I do think Legend should add a side note for countering or at least possible counters to these doomstacks, mostly because while the AI may not actively recruit these doomstacks, there's times where the AI gets pretty damn close to some of them. And then there's when you're playing against another person, as I do often play head to head with a friend. Of course most of the time I'm the one building the doomstacks, but unfortunately we've almost never actually played long enough for us to really start fighting. But I'm sure someone has had to do a multi against someone with a doomstack, or close to it.

Yes same thing with dread incarnate for the vamps. But it helps to use the dread incarnate stack itself because it will have massive winds of magic and each unit in the stack will also cause terror. It’s stunning how fast you can collapse high leadership armies like dwarves or chaos.

Eventually you’ll find a dwarf army that has slayers and you’re in much more trouble...

The good old days with foot Malagor

You forgot about vamire countd and coast. They can have the perk for -5 leadership aswell.

I wonder how they fare againts a good duelist lord with a sword of khaine + additional ward save and maybe reinforced by a healer on a flying mount with an unbreakable trait if he needs heals (gotrex has a use now!). Slayers/Flaggelants are good but heroes will slaughter them pretty quickly and you need to bring multiple stacks of those.

if you do this you should also try and kill the red rat in the south. his lord kill bonus gives you a massive buff to leadership penalty for that lord as well.

Unfortunately, I found out the hard way the AI can counter this. Win the campaign with the beastmen is one of the last achievements I need. It took me 150 or so turns to get several of these stacks going. By the time I had finished off the Bretonnia order tide was in full swing. As I slowly worked my way through the empire they began to send 6 or 7 heroes to wound my heroes. It was ridiculous. They were never coordinated enough to attack after they did the wounds, but they did not need to, because when they were down to 2 or 3 settlements, the dwarves came out of nowhere and hit me every turn with a new army. I had to restart a few times until I got a campaign where the vampires pushed back order tide and the Orcs/Scaven took care of the dwarves.

Yes. You can do that with vampire heroes.

I'll always prefer vampire counts Isabella + 19 vampire heroes with Dread Incarnate. More or less the same thing, they also have death magic for the -16 leadership spell, and they're all very tanky and fighty with regeneration and a self heal ability they can use once in a while. You not only win every battle, but you end every battle with all units back to 100% health. And if you encounter any unbreakable units, those vampire bitches doing 600+ damage each shred the hell out of them.

Can you use this on skarbrand?

A beastmen disaster battle??? Don't see that very often

How do you GIVE lords a trait?

How does this work against undead factions? Do they all just instantly start crumbling?

Would say vamps have the best version. Your lords and hero's can all get it and a full vamp or necro spam would mean alot of fucking magic. Both have easy ways to raise your limit for them.
