Because maybe they saw what happened?
If it's a hyena, then it's inside-out.
It seems these two crocs are pleasant to each other given one having the control of the kill. Is this because they are related or is it common to not show aggression when one is waiting for bits to escape?

Gross. This looks like the same area a few years back where two hyena clans were fighting and one fell into the water, and was killed by a crocodile.
