Thanks for the excellent work. Everything is natural. No interruptive notes, no noise. It's the calmness of the prey that won, not the cliffy rocky refuge.
Actually an incredible footage! Usually prey are panicking when they are being hunted. Haven't seen behavior like this before. It's like they are aware of the risks the wild dogs have to take to reach them. Even when the wild dogs came really close they didn't flinch. The survival instincts tell them to just stay put and play the waiting game.

Beautiful video with nature sounds and minimal speaking. Would have been interesting to see how they landed on the cliff. Survival skills help them from predators. Nice to see prey come up on top, instead of killed and ripped to shreds alive.

Ibex are naturally incredible climbers, but the wild dogs don't seem that smart. For Gods sake they won't even hurt if just jump from the top to have dinner on the table. It's not like they're stepping on a land mine where the probability of death is high
@totalhysteria

@@dawitgebrat1878 I don't think falling from the cliff is lethal, but it probably could cause some damage. In worst case break a leg if they are really unlucky. But I actually don't think they can estimate heights and the risks very accurately. Not really because they are stupid or anything. It's not just an environment they hunt in regularly. The terrain and the way the prey act are way out of their comfort zone.

These African wild dog (Lycaon pictus) also called the African painted dog and the African hunting dog, are one of the most terrifying yet successful predators ever! They instinctually work as a pack, their stamina is incredible, their strategy and ability to communicate to each other in a chase is phenomenal; they trade off leaders to conserve energy so some hang back and they take turns moving into the lead position, so with that strategy and stamina, they nearly always tire out their prey and catch it, especially out on flat country. As a pack, they can wear out and take down a huge antelope or wildebeest and the prey doesn't have a chance with these dogs, if they can reach the prey at all! It is horrifying to watch them in action and take down an animal, I've seen it and I don't enjoy seeing a predator kill its prey but it's how nature works. A lion or tiger will go for the throat and long fangs either sever the spinal cord or cut off air and the prey is strangulated. With wolves and wild dogs, they bring the prey down, bite it and tear at it until it bleeds out and dies within a minute or two. Nature seems very cruel at times, but the prey, when caught, usually goes into shock and probably isn't really aware or feel all the trauma of the attack and killing.

O God! There is no animal that does not testify to Your existence and unity through its sustenance being provided in relation to its need and weakness, and its being given all the members and faculties necessary for its life.

Why bold?
For a hand-held camera, that is extremely adorable footage, considering the fact that the serene but deadly environment could not allow for a tripod stand (these beasts were not posing for a picture - no pun intended). You were as still as the klipspringers. Keep up the good work.

Agree, it was top quality filming for sure.
Legend has it that the wild dogs visited Leopards that evening for some business meeting
Camera man s so proud of himself that he could make such merciless video
It gives the lesson to the viewers that at no time we should loose our heart like the antelope. Nice picture.
I'm rooting for the klipspringers. So long as they hold their nerve and stay on the ledge, the dogs are out of luck! 🙂
The deer is lucky they don’t have a lion or leopard because they wouldn’t hesitate to jump.
At one point, I expected the dogs to go all Batman and jump on top the deer, knocking them off the rock towards the ground. Also, the lions scenes reminded me of Larson’s "The Far Side" 😂😂😂
Hats off to the small deers for their courage

@@lil18thletterking77 deer have antlers. Antelope have horns. While antlers are shed every year, horns are permanent. Deer belong to the family Cervidae, while antelope belong to the family Bovidae.

They are called Klipspringers. A direct translation is rock jumpers.
Вот это выдержка!) Сразу вспомнилась поговорка: близок локоток, да не укусишь))
Those are some tasty little Klipspringers . Will Wild Dogs have to go another night hungry .
These wild dogs have some impressive fur!
Wow the little animals are so serene even when danger is so close. They know they are safe on the rock.

Clever antelope with patience, without any panic they stayed unmoved which helped them to survive from the wild dogs.

Terrific footage ❤
My idea for the Dogs is to roll down the boulder like a carpet. Great video 👍👍
Nerve-wracking on the part of the Klipspringers. They surely kept their cool.
one of the amazing videos in my life. I took a great lesson from it.
Great clips and smart animals I ever seen before !
Feel Immensely satisfied to watch these beautiful deers safe from the cruel jaws of wild dogs ..tonnes of credit to cameraman for nerve wrenching video
So entertaining to watch these dogs funny they keep seeking the way to get dinner. I love the teamwork you can see them waiting watching to see if they flinch get them off their perch. Then they will pounce on them exciting to watch. The lions are amazing way to go girls just keep an eye on them when they get the chance they will be on it! Hoo rah! Thank you for the video excellent work.
When I grow up, I want to be as calm as those animals.

I saw the thin line between death and life, any wrong decision or wrong move, you’d died. I’m glad they survived. I love them small little family ❤️
