They had Julian together. Cynthia showed a lot of class as not to bad mouth your ex publicly when you have a child together. She did drop hints over the years as Julian got older. Also, she didn't want to bad mouth John too much while John Lennon was alive because she didn't want to risk a Lawsuit form John and Yoko. Also, she didn't want to risk Julian not getting any inheritance from John.

@@johnsemanick3290 Cynthia wrote two books about John and decided to use the surname Lennon, although after the end of her marriage to John she got married three more times, because it sold more books. It was she herself who said it. And according to John she obviously influenced Julian's view of his father. The book is from Cyn's pov. But she too made her mistakes

See, when I look at Julian I see Cynthia, not John. I think he has so many features of his mother and luckily her grace and kindness.

I was lucky enough to meet her years ago and have my photo taken with her. She was so lovely, sweet and kind, exactly like I thought she would. She also had a lot of class. RIP sweet Cyn.

What a lovely lady, and she was the real rock in John’s life, which helped him survive into manhood.

@@jimquantic John's death turned him into a martyr but the guy was filled with anger and many faults. He treated Cynthia and Julian terribly so she was better off that he left her for the Howler (Yoko). It was John's loss because Yoko only cared about the money and fame. Cynthia was all class!

Julian is so amazingly together, don't know how they are so mentally advanced, and just amazingly loving, for being, there for John, and how they went through, his life. Everybody, is so impressed with her inner song and julian's, which far excelled any greatness a good woman should ever be. She has the most respect, and Julian, for genuinely amazing loving talented, literal life coaches to us all. They sell nothing, they are genuine, not gurus, yet truly genuine in being themselves . The real deal. Life coaches, to our world, on how to deal, lovingly through hard, breaks. Teachers can't take us through like those two can. We love them so much !!!

The patterns in the Lennon lives are remarkable. Parents dying when kids were 17, also not mentioned but John’s dad left when he was 4-5, John left both Julian and Sean when they were 4-5. History repeats and I think this is why neither Julian or Sean have children of their own - they want to break the pattern.

RIP John and Cynthia.

So much has been written and speculated about why John left Cynthia for that woman who shall not be named but that explanation of Cynthia's was the best. Succinct and true, it was fated. Credit May Pang, another decent lady John should have stayed with, for getting John to reach out to Julian. If she hadn't been with John at that time there is no telling if the two of them would have ever had a relationship. The other woman certainly wouldn't have tried to help them mend fences. Cynthia was just too conventional for John who in a lot of ways was damaged goods. I love his music but I don't think I would have cared much for him on a personal level. I never had time for guys who cheated on their wives. RIP Cynthia. If you two were fortunate enough to reunite in the next life I hope you got the apology from John you so richly deserved.

i bet j lennon gave cynthia a hard time. his pride vs her umbelness just wasnt meant. she was a good mother. woman. im glad she raised juilan right.

Cynthia seemed like a lovely kind person. Perhaps a bit too straight laced and boring for an enigmatic person like John.

Everyone has to realise that she got overshadowed by the great Yoko Ono. Everyone was bitter at Yoko Ono when it was him who pursued Yoko Ono. It's like all the White people couldn't fathom his attraction to the Beautiful and unique Yoko Ono. Sorry people. He realized that it was time to move on. Cynthia was just a part of his life. At that time people thought Yoko was breaking up the band. That why so many are angry about her in the first place. She was also much older and wiser then the people around. They met a few times over funding the exebition. It took a few years before they got together because even Lennon prefers blonde. Just like Rod Stewart . English guys. Two virgins was recorded on their first night together. Imagine the culture shock when the cover came out.😱

Actually it was Yoko who pursued John .. she was like a stalker! But ultimately the choice was his. It's just unfortunate he had to be so ugly about it when he made that decision. I hope they both rest in peace.

The things he said to Cynthia during that time were horrible. Cynthia only wanted that they part amicably. She didn’t take the advice of her legal to fight for half of John’s assets. That speaks volumes about her character. Compare that to Yoko’s. That’s why the big question what did John see in Yoko?

I think it's very funny is that Cynthia is seen as sweet and kind, just for being white and blonde while Yoko is horrible and bad and doesn't even say that this is not racism, because it is and is explicit. But I can't get a good opinion of Cynthia at all. People swear that she was not that mother who poisoned Julian's head over the years just because she has this sweet little voice, she assumed John's last name 15 years after the end of the marriage and don't tell me that it was for Julian, wasn't it, three months after John's death she went to exhibitions with may pang, without being invited and they were posing like the good lennon’s girls. She literally went to Los Angeles to try to resume her marriage to John, and asked to give her a child, for Julian's sake (emotional threat) and John was with May, like, wasn't she May's friend? And the she spent the last 30 years of her life blaming Yoko for all her problems, like Yoko this, yoko that, John literally shit on her head but she was like YOKO WHO Ordered. And finally at 78 John sued her, for what? I don't know, but he despised her as a person. I think it's funny that John in an interview in 75 he measures many words to talk about May pang but with Cynthia he didn't care about her, He speaks very badly of her
