Cynthia Powell Lennon she was extremely brave and courageous. This interview had to be extremely difficult for her. His questions were invasive and vulgar as he went for the jugular. I don’t know how she managed this interview with so much grace. Soft and well spoken she was very intelligent. She was a very attractive lady. ❤

Absolutely loved her and great mother to Julian. It never made sense to leave her.

I have just listened to this wonderful interview and so struck by this beautifully spoken lady, who experienced an amazing, yet turbulent life. I am so impressed with her calm and grounded responses - she is a lady of complete integrity.

She's a very intelligent and lovely sounding lady. Seems she's reflected quite a bit and much of what she says makes sense.

She's music in human form Her voice and accent also warm \(^v^)/! If only I had been earlier born (/-_•)\

She is pure class. Not like someone else we could name. Who stole George Harrison's biscuits.

Cynthia Lennon was a loving capable woman

She was left behind on the train station when Lennon left for India with the guys to see the Yogi. That was the symbolic end of their relationship. He didn’t turn around to get her but kept going? I wouldn’t leave my wife behind on a trip. So he showed his true colors then towards her. She was way too kind and caring for him. He didn’t deserve her. He found someone else and left her and his only son. And look how that turned out. A bad outcome. RIP Cynthia Powell

Yeah, and some people say I’m a conspiracy nut for believing that Joko was bad for him. She was a bad omen and led him to his doom. I don’t care what people say. Look at what happened to him. I’ve always said a good woman can lift you up and a bad woman can destroy you. Cynthia was a good woman. Joko is not! She’s a manipulator. She even blackmailed him initially by saying if he broke up with her she would kill herself. That’s emotional blackmail! What kind of woman says that? A sick one! If a woman said that to me I’d kick her to the curb and say go ahead! I’m done with you! That’s a load of BS! I firmly believe Lennon would still be alive if he never met her. You and I agree. I’m pleased that someone else get it besides me. But it’s too late now. Lennon paid a bitter price. He deserved better.

You are so right - John was always my least favourite Beatle - my mom was dumped by my dad and his step son led the life of a prince - but it all works out in the end I have a good relationship with my dad - my step brother is a pure waste of space and absolute lazy - but I’ve worked hard and can hold my head up - I did it on my own - and so can Julian Lennon - whatever he’s accomplished - and his music is beautiful and resonates with so many. ❤️❤️❤️

This is a classic case of a nice girl falling for the bad boy. Lennon was a brilliant artist but also a complete p***k . His treatment of his son Julian was unforgivable while at the same time he wrote ‘ Mother ‘ expressing the loss of his Mother.

He interviews and asks questions that are very male/man oriented

Not understanding some comments. Why would she say that John and Julian repaired their relationship and were best of friends? Julian says differently. I find it interesting that she refers to herself as the oldest (true) at the time she was in college still (no Beatles yet, per se) and refers to them as children, students. Ringo is older than John, and her. So, that was honest because she is referring to the time before Ringo joined.

Crazy. Cynthia was a M U C H better artist than Yoko, and as well as a good and kind person, as opposed to Yoko being highly manipulative and downright cruel. I'm pretty old now, but I think that's one of the mysteries of life I'll never understand.
