One of the highlights of the Futuristic Dragon tour. I would loved to have heard this on the Dandy in the Underworld tour played by the “new” T.Rex. It would have been amazing.

To all the critics who dismissed Marc Bolan’s skill as a guitar play they just never listened to the sound the man made.

I am in USA and it was on the news the day it happened, and people were blaming Liverpool hooligans at that point. We never got a follow up story with the truth. So many people in the world still believe that story. I try to educate, but it is not enough.

Something that dawned on me and it's only a coincidence. But TITANIC was registered at Liverpool and it's written on the back of the ship. And it sank 15th April the same date as the Hillsborough disaster. Kind of eery to think of the stern of that ship going under with Liverpool written on the back on the same date.

Good question. If you are listening through cheap(ish) headphones you won't notice the difference. Better quality headphones and using lossless files the AK would win hands down for sound quality.

Some of the most Psychedelic and Surreal lyrics ever written by Marc Bolan! Great "live" performance! Although, Marc overdubbed some Lead Guitar passages. I'd prefer he had never bothered. Power chords alá Pete Townshend John's Children toured with The Who and upstaged them! Pete had them taken off the tour! Drummer Chris Townson would sometimes fill in for Keith Moon at gigs.

I was at Tooting and Mitcham Utd on this day. My Dad and Grandad were on the board and we followed them home and away. It was a sunny day at Sandy Lane and while watching the game, one of those in our group was listening to the Semi Final on a radio as he was a Forest fan. We heard the commentator say there was trouble at the Leppings Land end and initially everyone thought it was down to hooliganism. But it soon became apparent that wasn’t the case. At full time in the Tooting match, the home supporters had been allowed to go into the Directors and Players Lounge to watch the tv and find out what was happening, as word had got round about how bad it was. I was 10 years old at the time, and remember the tv being on the wall in the corner of the room. I was sitting on a table almost underneath it, craning my head to watch Grandstand and Final Score. And as they spoke about how lives had been lost and the tragedy that was unfolding, I remember looking away towards the rest of the room…and being shocked at how many people there were…the room was crammed full…and the shock and horror on their faces, with tears from a few. I will never forget that scene of those people for the rest of my days. Nobody should go to a football match and never go home. RIP the 97. 😢
