As far as I get it they knew about each other and had some kind of contact long before this. So, this event just was something waiting for happening.
"Wasshoi! Wasshoi! Wasshoi! Wasshoi!“ Welcome back and great reaction. The live performances of this have been completely wild and the crowds are going nuts! 🤘🤪🤘 This is Momometal's first official music video since she was revealed as the official new member in April and she even got her own solo part with the spoken kabuki theatre section. The song title translates as 'Metali' (or 'Metari') which is a fusion of the words metal and matsuri (festival). The song is about a Metal Village holding a metal festival, so they have included all the matsuri shouts everybody would be calling out as encouragement to the people carrying heavy floats etc like "Sore, Sore", "Dokoisho" and "Wasshoi!". They are inviting us all to dance - I am reliably informed there is something in the lyrics (I think in Momometal's kabuki section) about we are all idiots or fools - the idiots who watch and the idiots who dance ... so as we're all here and we're all idiots why just watch, we may as well all dance.
I think watching them grow up (although some of us it was through watching old videos) is the reason why we feel so strongly towards them, to me they are like family, I think we all feel something like that, It makes me so proud to see the women they have become

Nice to see you back guys they where number10 on the best metal band of all time . They are on tour in the US now . Already played 3 shows, Houston, Dallas, and Orlando get yourselves a ticket they will be somewhere near you .. They have done quite a few collaborations with different artists , Polythia ,Alissa White Gluz , Joakim Broden ( Sabaton singer) F Hero , Bring me the Horizon plus toured with Metallica, Red Hot Chile Peppers, Korn , Judas Priest and Lady Ga Ga and quick apprence in a Cory Taylor video he is a fan as well not forgetting Little Uzi Vert recently 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

Finally you're back with Babymetal 😁 And thanx to the donator who made it possible 🤘🏻🦊 Hollywood, you said "I wanna go!" so often in your earlier reactions. I don't know if you already know, that the girls are actually on their US tour, co-headlining with deathklok. I really really hope, you're going to do a weekly Babymetal reaction again. Like in the good ol' times. There's so much stuff and so many songs from them you haven't checked out yet.

Baby metal came to a small venue down the street from me but had no clue who they were at the time. The place has a max capacity of 200 people. They have come a long way.

Where and when was that? Unless it was 10+ years ago they have never played a venue so small. Yes in the US they do play venues as small as 1500 capacity but that is about as small as it gets.

I thoroughly it was 2014 to 16. Can't remember the exact date. Oh it was Stafford Palace theater in Connecticut. Wasn't long after the soulfly and havok tour. I remember that much.

Ok u looked up the venue. It also sells tickets and I had no clue. It sells tickets for big venues and advertised for baby metal ticket sales. My bad everyone. I had no clue they did that.

they were #10 on the greatest metal bands by Metal Hammer.
If you both are going to see Babymetal with Dethklok this week (I believe they're in Atlanta tomorrow, as of this comment, hope you guys document it like you did for your adventure to see Tool. I absolutely cannot *wait* to see them on Friday.

you need to watch the live versions that everyone is putting out of the live versions of this, I have one from Pittsburgh and their are many others. You will really get into it, this video doesn't have momo doing the growl like they do in the live stuff.

They seem to have taken a lesson from Bloodywood. The percussion, tempo & overall sound are very Bellwood flavored.
In this case you're right: it's about talent. And most unusually this is an example of a talented **Production**. My general opinion of highly produced entertainment is that it is often soulless and really lacking in creativity and inspiration. But for this production, the pure joy and enthusiasm evident/unavoidable from the jump, alongside the talent on display from top to bottom.
They were rated 10th of all time. They're better than that now.
