Driving an unregistered moped is an offense not a crime. It warrants a ticket, not an arrest. Now she has an arrest record and impound fees even if she wins in court.

"This happened at a point when she's already fled, she's already exhibited suspicious behavior, later on we found out she had access to a knife on the moped. So at that point, we have to take her down safely and we have to take her down quickly," Yonkers Police Commissioner Christopher Sapienza said.

Cops only go after people they suspect won't fight back. A Door Dash delivery driver is an easy mark.

I commend Styles for stepping in. More people should. Those officers are foul. The police needs policing.

So as a citizen if u see the police being too aggressive you have to say something. Do u need examples where someone acting like that towards them about there actions could've saved a person's life. I am 100% law abiding. And I'm still scared of the police. As a black woman. I'm not scared of dying but I'm scared of the police let that sink in. I stand on what I said. If he was around when George Floyd was on the ground the police probably would've gotten up. I have 2 law enforcement family members and they both agree that majority of the police lead with they ego. Black ppl aren't ppl to them. We all are perps to them. Styles along with many of us have PTSD regarding police brutality so yeah he got turnt up but to possible save someone's life I'll get turnt to. When I see police getting aggressive, which they do on a regular I will stand around making sure they act appropriately. Also Police should police their own neighborhoods but they don't. If you of the neighborhood u would feel differently on how you police the neighborhood. As I said b4 police 100% need policing. They need more training and they need to switch to rubber bullets. They need black history training or whichever ethics they will be policing. And they need citizens like Styles and Adjua to make sure they don't kill another person over loose cigarettes or a fake $20. Meanwhile they got mass shooter serial killers homegrown in own neighborhoods that should be aggressive with. I can't watch another white boy do a mass killing but NEVER get slammed to the ground. And one of the times thr police had to guns to my head, well I was riding with my white cousin, they carded me the passenger not her the driver and started asking her out. Oh so the truth is out now. The young lady grabbed her moped and tried to flee the scene. Well I'll be dam. So the cops deserved to be cursed out ? WTF is this world coming to. Hell, I got stopped last night for speeding. Midnight in ATL. My Shepherd started barking at the officer as he approached and I shouted "I have a dog". Complied, gave him my license and was on my way back to the house in 5 mins. Yeah I was checked for warrants. That's their duty. Apologized to the Trooper for speeding and he simply stated I'm gonna need you to slow down. Easy peezie. Try it sometimes. About 3 times out of 10, you leave with a warning. And that's a fact. COMPLY !!!
