Back in the 1970s Kiss was known as the loudest band in the world. Their live shows were the absolute best. By the way, the base player is Gene Simmons. He had a reality show for a while and played in a couple of movies. He is scary even without the makeup.

I was immediately hooked and I have been a huge KISS fan ever since! My first KISS concert was "Lick It Up", their first album/tour without their signature make up (and a couple new members, namely Vinnie Vincent on guitar who replaced Ace Frehley and Eric Carr who replaced Peter Criss on the drums)... #KISSARMY

I'll just keep commenting this every once in a while and I'll keep adding stuff i guess. But man, you should do some Def Leppard for sure! Would really recommend the following ones, don't know if anyone agrees, but we'll see. - Love Bites - Hysteria - Photograph - Gods of War - Animal - Brining on the Heartbreak But yeah... To be honest, it's hard to name one of their songs that I wouldn't recommend. So... To name some more: - Armageddon it - Run Riot - Tear it down - Heaven is - High 'n Dry And switch 625, for some Steve Clark magic. But Dire Straits is also amazing! - Money for nothing, definitely a song that you should listen to - walk of life - Brothers in arms - Romeo and Juliet - Solid rock And probably my favorite, it lasts almost 15 minutes, but 'Telegraph Road' is a masterpiece.

We'll done, JoJo. At least you listened to the real Kiss with the original members here. Rock and Roll all night is a song that gives a correct bead on Kiss. God bless ya, buddy and keep growing

I was listening to 80's hair band music in highschool (stll listen to it), but not any KISS back then . I was overseas in the early 90's and a friend of mind intruduces me to the music of KISS and the DOORS.....boy he educated me. Kiss became my favorite Band - I went out and bought all there stuff immediately., the Doors are great also.

If you ask any rock and roll band that was touring back in the early 70s, what their favorite city is to do a show, they will all say Detroit. The fans in Detroit were unusually enthusiastic and rock and roll bands just loved to play here... Detroit Rock City baby!

my friend, Kiss started in 1972 with their first release on 18th February 1974, they have 20 studio albums plus 4 solo records and multiple alive records in which kiss alive 2 is 1/4 new studio songs at the time, 1977. they have compilation records with new songs or re-recordings of older songs. in total I would guess they have over 280 songs, there are at least 3 great songs on every album if not much more on some!!! I would say if I was to pick out the best 50 songs I would still be missing out on some killer tracks. This band puts most bands to shame, this band still puts on a show as good as any other that has ever been, this band has out done even themselves! (Dubai 2020 New Years as an example, Dodger stadium 1996, Brooklyn bridge, Kiss symphony!!! not to mention all of their other great shows MSG, Cobo hall, Rio de Janeiro with 200 thousand fans in the crowd) The off spin bands like Frehley's comet or Criss have spawned so much music your head would spin if you went back to take a listen. Not too many other acts can say they have done anything close to what KISS has done!

Watched KISS in Colorado several years ago and they were going to fine the band thousands of dollars if they played past a certain time. They were rocking it out and Paul Stanley said he would write the city a check and they kept rocking. A member of the Kiss Army ever since.

This is the Mk 1 version of Kiss, with Paul Stanley on rhythm and lead guitars and lead vocal, Ace Frehley on lead guitar and backing vocals, Gene Simmons on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Peter Criss on drums and backing vocals. The song was inspired by an event an actual event, although the inspiring event happened at a concert venue and not on a highway.
