I commented on one of his other vids that he needs to do "Living in Sin" which in my opinion has one of the most under rated guitar solo's of all time. It's short, but unlike most other solo's that just kind of take you for a ride....When the solo in L.I.S. hits I'm like "Damn! I might cry."

The reason why music in the 70s and 80s was mostly about having fun and partying is because we did that so much. You had to go to clubs and social events to meet people in person as opposed to joining a website and swiping right. I am so glad we didn’t have to deal with covid back then as there was no internet or cell phones so everything we did was in person !!! Great reaction JOJO !!! Bon Jovi inspired a lot of future hair bands where the bands hair was as beautiful as their groupies !!!..lol

Most of the 80s rock bands were "fun". Stadium concerts, rock ballads, fun.

80s music is making a comeback, but I find all the modern songs that emulate the 80s are vapid and empty. The 80s had an energy and passion that modern musicians don't have. And yes, I was there in the 80s. Best decade ever.
I am 48 years old and I have listened to this music for as long as I can remember ... The rock of the 80s has no comparison! I am happy that new generations discover bands like BonJovi and enjoy it!

Totally loving this reaction!! Exactly how I feel every time I go back and watch old music videos of BJ, can’t beat it!
Jon Bon Jovi has often said that he goes by the idea of "don't bore us, get to the chorus". Which is why the chorus is always so good in his songs. And if you were going for a love song, he does have MANY, but this definitely isn't one. And they were/are fun to listen to & a ton of fun in concert. Watch Lay Your Hands on Me & Bad Medicine to see just how much fun Bon Jovi live shows can be. When he does Living on a Prayer live now, the audience tends to sing it back to him more than he sings it to us.

Every great 80's song had an instrumental, the one in 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is longer than most modern song attempts. It gives the listeners a chance to process the song during the song and really enjoy the full impact, which is a world away from the repetitive monologue of current music.

Same, as well as KISS, Motley Crue and many many others. My Dad played these all the time in the car.
When I was young I mostly listened to country and bluegrass music! But I would hear other music at friends houses or at the local pizza restaurant who had a jukebox! Then my dad said to me, “You know, a well rounded person enjoys music from many different genres!” I listened to him and I love music from most genres and applied that to movies, tv shows, books, etc.
Time for Blaze of Glory. Instant classic.
Yes this is a banger!! I’ve noticed something with all the reactors I’ve been watching....... they almost always love these 80’s hair bands, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Van Halen... They went of style in the 90’s with grunge music and more rap/hip hop hitting the mainstream. But damn..... there was soooo many great hair band songs, some of the best music to dance and party to! 🔥

i love watching these cause i get so hyped with the person
I had so much fun watching you have fun enjoying this song!
They usually play this as the second or third song in concerts. It always has a lot of crowd participation. If it is played third, Jon will give a speech trying to whip the crowd up, if it is played in second place, the greeting speech will come afterwards and the band will simply break into the song. Jon will sing the opening on his own "Shot through the heart and you're to blame / You give love..." and then let the audience finish the title before the guitarists will start the hookline. After the solo, Jon will intiate a short call and response with the audience - often started by saying "it's show time" - and after the band finishes the final chorus, he'll start a second call and response ritual with the audience singing the entire chorus after he sings the opening lines.
All the Bon Jovi concerts I’ve been to were so much fun. One year I got to go to both of the concerts they did in my city and they were both the same but different two nights in a row.
You should do reactions to the songs Keep The Faith, and I'll Sleep When I'm Dead.
I really like it that you posted the lyrics! Thanks!
Love to see you enjoying one of my favorite bands!
Bon Jovi videos are usually fun. They don't take themselves too serious but they take their music seriously. I can't think of a bad song of theirs. A great rabbit hole to go down. If you like the song "Hallelujah" check out Jon Bon Jovi's version. He's older and it's not rock but it's beautiful.
