Kiss like them or not remain one of the biggest and most influential bands of all time

Kiss was the first band I started listening to when I transitioned from listening to AM Pop music to FM rock music when I was 17. I eventually moved on to the progressive bands, but I have a great fondness for Kiss. They put on a hell of a show!

Me too. 1977 I was 11 years old and got Love Gun. Was hooked!

This is based on a true story about a fan that died on his way to a kiss concert

They're whole thing is shock. They want to shock your senses and melt your skull. Best bombastic show in rock and it isn't even close.

The Demon wants to eat the spaceman. Thats why Gene is licking Ace. They really developed. Little back story's behind the characters the created. FYI. Love your videos.

Not bad for 30 years after their peak. One of their better songs.

She's talking about The Demon + The Spaceman. But I got to see the Originals in 76 or 77 in St John's Arena at The Ohio State University

Now wait a minute...KISS yes my first concert 1976 in NY was awesome. I actually dressed up as Peter Criss for Halloween. Its was a live experience that you had to see first hand. They put on an awesome show. The music was so bad either.

Literally, don't hear Jersey..... but, great reaction. All the best.

A lot of the early Kiss costumes were things just put together by the band. They have said numerous times that the chokers and things came from dom/sub sex shops in New York City. Pretty funny that your reaction was so on point! ;)

BTW Rock and Roll all Nite LIVE in 1996 is some of the best live songs ever. I would check that out for sure. another song live is Love Gun LIVE. that is two that you should check out.

Some people just don't get it.

Paul McCartney & George Harrison always shared the same mike stand, but it just didn’t look so Gay, not for one minute suggesting Gene & Tommy are Gay, or anything is wrong with being Gay, just saying.

Kiss is one of a kind! They are very talented musicians and their music comes through that way especially live. They’ve been doing these things on stage ever since they started in the early 70s. However you being from Palm Springs you lose all credibility on what’s feminine and what’s not because you grew up in a confused ass town. And how I know I can say that is cause I lived there for a few years and got the hell out.

I think your Imagination is being over active, I definitely would not have describe it as feminine. The mic that they were sharing is a vocal mic and is putting out different vocal settings. You would never touch guitars in a concert the camera man was kinda focused there for some reason.

Curious...How many subscribers did you lose behind this reaction?

KISS is best known for the elaborate, bombastic entertaining live stage shows with 500 lbs of pyro per show, and volume turned up to 10, and the theatrics and dozens of other things they do at their shows. They shoot exploding rockets from their guitars, drums rise 30-50 feet up, Paul and Gene have parts where they fly around, gene spits blood and blows fire. They are just known to have one of the best live shows ever in rock history. That is why they have such die hard fans and a fan count well over 100 million worldwide.

KISS has been going strong since 1973. But I think they finally retired recently.

You couldn't have picked a worst version of this song. lol. You should try Sydney Australia 1980 or Cobo Hall 1984

@@richardmcdonald6237 I'll admit the band leader was a good marketer booking their act with national acts but the costumes....please. You may like it, I don't. To me, ridiculous! Go to Vegas and open for a magic act or something. To each his own, it's all subjective anyway

Being from California must suck

The original band was much better. I lost interest in Kiss when Peter Criss (drummer) and Ace Frehley (lead guitarist) left the band.

I won't watch your reaction because it's with the Ace Frehley Peter Criss imposters doing a kiss classic. As a matter of fact I believe I will leave a dislike
