    @@HelloThere-lo3qiyou realize defense is where the team sucks real bad though. With Victor it's good but without him they're dead last plus I don't think this class has a better PG options than what next year's class would offer so they can still wait til next year. Sarr will greatly improve the defense which is what they need so that he can help victor he'd be a better upgrade than Collins being able to do the same but with top tier D. This is a rebuilding team too remember it takes years to collect the right pieces together to becomes successful so patience.

    @@July9326it’s the teams perimeter defence that’s lacking. Drafting another big to clog the lane isn’t going to improve the teams overall performance. The spurs can’t go another year with Sohan at pg. They need a guard that’s a three level scoring threat to facilitate the offence and space the floor.

  • @July9326

    @July9326

    @@dillamadukes21 sarr won't clog the paint he'll do exactly what they wanted Collins to do with spacing the floor shooting threes and being a lob threat plus his defense can be inside the paint while victor goes to the 4 and guards the outside perimeter. This is what they tried doing with Collins but it never worked cause Zach isn't the right fit so victor had to go to the 5 which he dislikes. Also how are you so sure they're going to do the sochan PG experiment again next season? It only took place for 20 games people need to understand it wasn't really long it was just a temporary trial. And yeah I know they need a PG it's obvious I'm not denying that it's just there are other parts that the team lacks in that people need to understand that is also a problem (Defense where they were last in).

    Reed Sheppard slander. The dude has incredible advanced analytics, maybe the best from a short 2/scoring 1 combo guard since Donovan Mitchell. He’s an excellent rebounder, excellent passer, and his scoring is only 3rd on the team because his usage was so low; his BPM, win shares, true shooting, and eye test, are all superb. You also made a mistake leaving Jaylon Tyson off the list. Watch him. He’s got a fantastic stroke. He’s got good handles. And he’s a fuckin huge guard. And all the numbers look good for him too. Future all-star if he finds a team that actually cares to use him.

    I don't think people realize how much the Spurs like Tre Jones and Wesley as their PG duo. Tre Jones (When starting this year), averaged 11pts, 7 assists on no turnovers basically, and shot 40% from three (that's much more efficient than Tre Young FYI). Sometimes you don't need a flashy team. For the Spurs its all about Vic and focusing on letting Vic run the offense and defense. Spurs are looking for 3&D guys mostly right now

    Castle would be perfect. His shot is fixable, and the Spurs did a great job this year helping players improve their 3 point shot. If Tre Jones and Jeremy Sochan can improve, so can Castle. Spurs like to pick players who have great defensive potential and ability to switch on pick n rolls without causing mismatches. And Castle is more than just a defensive player, he's a great connective player to add to the Spurs with Wemby. Honestly, it's amazing that all these the NBA mock drafts don't understand how perfect he is for the Spurs.

    Your 90s Zach Edey comparison is hilarious when we have big men like AD, Joker, Domas dominating exactly like that. Stop trying to compare eras and let basketball be basketball. Domas and Joker can handle the ball, but their game is the late 90s early 2000s high IQ passing big men style.

    Love the videos but you are overthinking Cody Williams and dropping him for no valid reason he only played 24 games and was hobbled for half of them especially towards the end and wearing a mask part of the year and was still good also have to keep in my mind he was playing in Colorados system and had two older established players ahead of him in the pecking order who will also get drafted this year. The long term potential is high especially once he grows into his frame and gets stronger having him outside the top 10 will age very poorly in my opinion
