    i never understand why people call anthony bennett the biggest bust of all time. nobody thought he was getting picked first, and nobody thought he would be a great player. sure, he's the worst #1 pick of all time, but biggest bust implies that there were massive expectations that were not lived up to.

    Big expectations come with the #1 pick even if you don’t have many pre-draft. And outside of the lottery you can’t really bust because you don’t have expectations. Being the worst #1 pick is the definition of a bust, because the team used the most valuable asset to just be disappointed

    @@KingEarl I’m fine with it I think Paolo and Cade will be around the same level. I just see Cade as having the tools and potential to be the next great point guard with being a 6-6 player and being a good shooter, passer, playmaker, defender, and already has a good feel for the game in technically year 3 but year 2 due to injury. Paolo is great too and has a lot of upside too, and they will probably both be top 15 players, but I like Cade a bit more. Cade is also playing with the worst spaced team in the league, and he would look way more effective on a team that is better spaced rather than having defenses making his life hell by focusing heavily on him.

    #1 was obvious but I don’t agree with you on putting Ant ahead of AD for #2. You are basing this purely on potential. Ant hasn’t accomplished anything yet and his team hasn’t done anything in the playoffs. AD’s “potential” was even higher when he was the same age as Ant as some analysts thought that he would take over the league after lebron at that time. Also I don’t agree with you putting cade that high. He doesn’t play defense, shoots poorly, and turns it over at a very high rate. If you are going to penalize Ben Simmons for missing games due to injuries then why does Cade get special treatment? Cade is getting hurt a lot too and hasn’t accomplished anything in this league besides constantly leading the pistons to the draft lottery every year.

Wemby: Over the next 5 years, he's going to be the face of the NBA would be him and Jokic a true center battle like Wilt and Russell. He's in a historical organization of a winning culture and wants to be coach by the greatest Gregg Popovich. Overall, he's in the right system, now they have draft picks to build around him, and he'll get a championship in San Antonio. Edwards: He really surprises me on getting the recognition into the NBA playing alongside with KAT and really worked on his game to become the face of the franchise. If he can carry Minnesota further into the playoffs and win a championship, I can definitely see that.

    I ask chat GPT if this AI can rank all the #1 pick in the NBA and make a redraft whi will go #1. Ask it to do just the top 10 Chat GPT: Focusing strictly on 1st overall picks for a redraft based on their NBA careers, accolades, impact on the game, and considering their leadership and contributions to their teams, here's how the top 10 might look: 1. **LeBron James (2003)** - A transcendent talent who has dominated the league from the moment he entered it. His combination of longevity, versatility, leadership, and success, including four NBA championships and four MVP awards, places him at the top. 2. **Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1969)** - The NBA's all-time leading scorer with six MVP awards and six championships. Abdul-Jabbar's skyhook became one of the most unstoppable moves in basketball history. 3. **Magic Johnson (1979)** - Revolutionized the game with his size and playmaking ability at the point guard position. Magic led the Lakers to five NBA championships during the 1980s, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest to ever play. 4. **Tim Duncan (1997)** - The cornerstone of the San Antonio Spurs' dynasty, Duncan led the team to five NBA titles. Known for his consistency and excellence on both ends of the floor, he earned two MVP awards during his career. 5. **Shaquille O'Neal (1992)** - One of the most dominant centers in NBA history, Shaq's combination of size, strength, and agility was unmatched. He won four NBA titles and earned three Finals MVP awards. 6. **Hakeem Olajuwon (1984)** - "The Dream" was known for his incredible footwork and defensive prowess, leading the Houston Rockets to back-to-back NBA championships in the 1990s and earning two Finals MVP awards. 7. **Oscar Robertson (1960)** - Although it took until later in his career to win an NBA championship with the Milwaukee Bucks, Robertson was a groundbreaking player who averaged a triple-double over an entire season, a feat that wouldn't be matched for decades. 8. **David Robinson (1987)** - "The Admiral" was the linchpin for the San Antonio Spurs before Duncan arrived, leading them to two NBA championships. Robinson was known for his scoring, rebounding, and shot-blocking abilities. 9. **Elvin Hayes (1968)** - A key player for the Washington Bullets' 1978 championship team, Hayes was a prolific scorer and rebounder throughout his career, making him one of the greatest power forwards of all time. 10. **Allen Iverson (1996)** - Despite never winning an NBA championship, Iverson was one of the most electrifying guards in league history, winning four scoring titles and the 2001 MVP award. His impact on the game extends beyond his on-court achievements. This ranking reflects a blend of individual brilliance, team success, and historical impact. Players like Bill Walton (1974), who had immense potential but faced injury issues, and recent stars who are still adding to their legacies, like Kyrie Irving (2011) and Anthony Davis (2012), could also be considered for such a list based on different criteria or future accomplishments.

    Victor shouldn't be #1. Not because he isn't the best or has the most potential. But it's only his first year!! Like many of these other players, a single injury and their entire careers were ruined. What happens if, god forbid, Vic gets injured? You can't just put him #1 based off his "potential" seasons. I'd say AD or Kyrie deserves to be #1. Wemby either 3 or 4 with ANT.

    Tbh,I would put Wiggins above Wall,for the exact same reason you put Ayton above Ben. Of course,most of the “Top pick” had a higher peak than Wiggins,however if you really think about it,Wall is about done now. While Wiggins had just turned 29,although he did have an off year,but it was more so because of his “Family issue” which was claimed to be fixed just a while ago. Wiggins is definitely getting better as the season goes on,and I would bet money that he could recover to his 22’ version. If that’s the case,he will still be the most athletic 3&D player for a long time,and the longevity beats Wall’s past achievements IMO.

    I loved the video, but think it's pointless trying to rank Wemby at this point. In ten years, he could either be the best player in league (if he stays healthy) or retired (due to injury). Both seem almost equally likely to me. How can you rank a player like that?

  • @Sunking210

    @Sunking210

    think of it this way, if there was a draft right now with all of the players mentioned in this video, who would you select with the 1st first pick? Keep in mind, Wemby has literal one of the greatest of all time potential. You can list every hypothetical out there to dissuade yourself from picking him but 10 out of 10 times, GM's will always pick that kind of potential over anybody else. I'd love to come back to these type of videos 10-15 yrs from now a lot like how there were numerous doubters for Lebron...
