raptors actually need a big backup guard, or defensive wings who can defend the perimeter shooting. they got 2 centers. if they need a center they can take a flyer on kel ware at 17 or with the pistons 2nd round pick.

kentucky doesnt play any defence and they had undersized guards that struggled when they faced a decent defensive team with bigger players.

Spurs are NOT going to pick a guy who is a poor shooter. If you haven’t noticed outside of Wemby and Vassel the majority of the team CANT shoot. The Spurs, potentially will have five current players off the team by start of next season

To improve the team, they must sign better shooters. Also, the Spurs have a lot of forwards. They need guards.

But if I know the Spurs, if the two main players they like, Risacher and Topic, are gone, they likely will trade their pick away. As I said before, the Spurs have a team of players similar to Holland, now. They need not add more to the mix. You say Holland has a lot of upside. The Spurs do not have a few years to work on his development. They need players who can step in right away and have some impact on now.

I get that it's a randomized draft order selection, but I'm surprised it doesn't follow rules for how the lottery actually works. If taking current records, the lowest pick the Wizards could get is 5th, the Spurs' lowest is 6th, and the Hornets 7th.

raptors also need defensive wings that can defend the perimeter. scottie barnes was gassed before injury just playing half of 2nd half playing both ends. he wont last the entire season of he has to carry the raptors on both ends of the floor.

I think Dunn could be a great fit for when yak goes down or even as a replacement in three years if they keep him for full contract. Regardless raptors need some fresh bodies, preferably bigger/thicker than current mcdaniels/boucher/porter/ bench . Filipowski could be good too
