I actually put together an updated ranking last year that included the EPs and live album but never uploaded it before I stepped away from KZread. I like Phantomime quite a bit and I am a child of the 80s so I was already pretty familiar with the songs. My top 5 remains the same though. 1. Impera (2022) Favorite tracks: Call Me Little Sunshine, Watcher In The Sky, Griftwood, Respite On The Spitalfields 2. Meliora (2015) Fav. tracks: From The Pinnacle to The Pit, Cirice, Mummy Dust, Majesty, Deus In Absentia 3. Prequelle (2018) Fav. tracks: Rats, Faith, Dance Macabre, Witch Image, Life Eternal 4. Infestissumam (2013) Fav. tracks: Secular Haze, Year Zero, Body and Blood, Monstrance Clock 5. Opus Eponymous (2010) Fav. tracks: Con Clavi Con Dio, Ritual, Elizabeth, Satan Prayer Honestly, I don't think they have even one bad track throughout their entire discography. I even like "Twenties."

Thanks Kevin, your like a regular viewer! I really appreciate it. It looks like we have very similar opinions on Ghost. Even my least favorite tracks are still better than most other bands. I wish Ghost would put out a compilation of their obscure tracks like Zenith and Here Comes the Sun. Thanks for the comment!🤘

Learning about Ghost after the release of Impera I think it really gives a whole different perspective than the older fans of Ghost. I feel Impera is by a long shot there best Album. I listened to all of them in the last few days and My order would be. 1. Impera 2, Meliora 3. Prequelle 4.Opus Eponymous 5.Infestissumam. I think its hard for Fans of any band when you heard all their music as it came out to except change thus many older fans of the band find the newer music not as good. But when you come in and start with no expectation you are much more open to the whole picture so that's just my take on the band .

Your entry point into a band can definitely make a difference on which album is your favorite. I’m sure that their was some kid out there who picked up St. Anger as his first Metallica album and that will always be their favorite. Earl, my ranking is very similar, with the exception of Prequelle and Impera. Meliora is their best album for sure.

If I were to rank them today I would probably flip Impera and Prequelle. If I ever decide to start making content again I would like to do a ranking and include the EPs. Some of those are excellent!

@@andjusticeforearl4742 yes, I had one friend that applies recency bias to everything and Impera immediately became his favorite Ghost album after one listen, Meliora will always be heard to beat, sadly George doesn’t agree with us. 😂 I know that I don’t do as much with my music channel either, but that’s only because my movie channel takes up so much of my time and KZread can burn you out.

You know what makes Ghost really great? I checked so many album rankings and they are so different. Some albums are the best for some fans and other albums are the best for other fans. For instance look at Iron Maiden (whom I really like and respect), most almost all rankings are like this: Blaze albums, No Prayer... FotD are on the bottom, while Number of the Beast, Powerslave, Seventh Son... are on the top. Most fans agree. However, in case of Ghost the opinion of the fans are so inconsistent and I think this makes the band very interesting. My personal ranking (best to "not the best"): 1. Prequelle 2. Meliora (very close second) 3. Impera 4. Infestissumam 5. Opus Eponymous (you might agree or disagree)

I totally agree! It may have something to do with the audience that Ghost was able to reach with their last 3 albums. In the beginning it was mostly an underground thing, now I see middle school girls wearing Ghost t-shirts🤷‍♂️ thanks for watching and thanks for taking the time to comment!🤘

We Share very similar opinions, most of the elitists say that only the first 2 albums are good. Personally I think that the last 3 are near perfect. Even the EPs have been great! Thanks for watching and thanks for taking the time to comment!🤘🤘

I don’t know why a lot of people hate on Infestissumam, I think that it is a very good album. If you haven’t listened to the live album Ceremony & Devotion check it out. It has some very good versions of some Infestissumam tracks, I love Monstrance Clock on that album. Thanks for watching!
