@@DuckTronic In cassettes from the mid 90´s . In some boxes stored who knows where...but I tried like 40 pedals in shops in that time and that valve one was the best by far.

To be honest, I don't know much about it either, as I only own four distortion pedals. But there are many websites with comparisons of distortion pedals, maybe you will find something there.

Unfortunately, I don't know that many. I think MXR+ and Mooer Black Secret are good. And I don't like the BOSS DS-1 at all.
