@@DuckTronic This is brilliant, glad I found your channel! :) I also want to know how to properly make a typical early 00s kick. (one of my fav. kicks) I did try a sort of gated reverb 909 like kick, but I just can not get it right! Good examples are Moguai vs Kay Tracid - DT64, Noemi, and some late Brooklyn Bounce. Crunchy kick, because I have no idea how to call it. :D

@@TheHorseValse Thank you! I know exactly what kind of kicks you mean. There are many ways to reproduce them. You can also get the sample CD Vengeance Essential Club Sounds, for example, there are many kicks and the kick reverbs on it. 👍

my god man, that has to be the cleanest 303 ever.

These videos give me reason to spend some fun time with the td-3, love this stuff!

@@melinaleonne3841 yes, I own a td3 and it plays just like the 303. The way you enter notes and everything else is the same.

I'm pretty sure the patterns were made with software and I can't get the sound exactly right. But I will give it a try. It will just take a little while.

I didn´t know you could play the pattern in different tone and I did records with a tb in the 90´s...

Kick ass sounds , love it !! Do you some patters like this for the tb 3 from roland with the touchpad ? Greetings from rollodmusic from belgium

Hello Roland, thank you very much! Actually, the TB-3 can do that too and with the pattern description in the video you can also program the TB-3 well. I also have one here and can try it out if it works for me without any problems.

Hi Iggy. Yes, there is a possibility. I also wanted to make a video about it, but it's the striking thing about the original TB-303 that many clones and the software can't manage. So I will probably leave my 303 in its original state. I did it on my x0xb0x and it works great. You only have to solder a small capacitor at a certain point. Maybe I will do it for a video to show how it works.
