You can of course use the patterns for the Roland TB-3 & TB-03, Behringer TD-3 & TD3-MO, x0xb0x, Din Sync RE-303, Cyclone Analogic Bass Bot TT-303, Abstract Machines Avalon Bassline, Acidlab Bassline, Twisted Electrons ACID8 or AudioRealism Bass Line / ABL. The programming is based on the same principles.

"Acid Tracks" was the first Pattern i programmed on my own 303. It's such a powerful Pattern and one of the best ever, absolutely timeless. Legend has it that the "Acid Tracks" Pattern was already programmed into the used 303 before Dj Pierre and Spanky bought it from a 2nd hand store! ✌🏻+ ❤
it is sooo pitch perfect 🙏🙏🙏
Many thanks! The record that started it all
Marvelous
Thanks again for this tutorial, I'm having so much fun playing with my TD3.

@@DuckTronic Cheers! You've got the cleanest 303 I've ever seen btw! Beautiful.
will be using pattern 2 for my song
🔥🔥🔥
great work 👍 as to the 1st pattern i’m pretty sure it’s on purpose and it’s just a 16th on the end (time stretching) even though they didn’t have that then hence the classic 303 hiccup 👍 ROOOLAND also it’s the baseline and drum patterns that stretch the 303 😁 all time favourite piece of ROLAND hardware!!!

What's your opinion on the tb-03? I own one but not sure how it compares to the og 303! I love the 03 though it's my main acid box in the setup (out of 5) I also travel with it alot!!
@DuckTronic

It's hard to say and it all depends on what you plan to do and how much you want to spend. If you distort the sound or put a lot of effects on it, you probably won't hear the difference that much. I have one too, but use it very little as I mostly use the original for the videos. A binding answer I can not give you unfortunately. 🤷♂️

Brilliant video thanks so much. I had got pattern 2 of Acid Trax myself (couple of notes out) but that's bang on. If you could do the 303 patterns for Charles B Lack of Love I'd be eternally grateful!!! Been trying to recreate it myself for ages and just can't get it! Keep up the good work, this channels great.

You could possibly recreate the bassline with a 303, but probably none was used in the track. The sound is very different.
You already lost me when you said "I set the pattern length to half a bar".
