It would be crazy if each tree was a transformed human. Humans or humanoids eat the fruit, and it is like brainwashing, under control of some unknown entity. Androids not affected as they don’t need to eat.

The whole planet is botanitech. The tropical zone grows on the "alive" side, the cold side grows on the "dead" side. One side has edible food, one side has radioactive food growing from the bones of dead serpents like the radioactive plants grew off Grandmother's dead body and died when she came back to life. This episode broke me. Whole season has been mostly chill then BOOM acid man fish eats a new born baby with its stomach and woman turns into a tree.

Botanitech is probably XNA - (xeno nucelic acid) synthesys - Artificial dna merged with organic dna known as xenomorphology/xenobiology. We can make and manipulate some XNA today so its plausible that an advanced civilisation would have mastered this field. I suspect Grandmothers true function is the ability to create/insert XNA into any lifeform, essentially xenomorphing living beings into whatever she wants.

I think that if Father ever dies again, Grandmother will botanitech him a new giant android body. Kaiju snake battle incoming! Oh well, I can dream...

Marie Sue: She promised to do anything if SOL saved Paul. Sue told Paul she prayed and SOL showed her the answer (leeches). Paul asked, did “he ask you for anything? Scripture say, SOL always asks something of atheists before he helps them” Sue responded, “no, he didn’t ask for anything”. Paul says, it must be something else then. That direct response could have one of two meanings: Something else helped her or SOL wants something else. This show is so Meta and intelligent.

SOL did get it's price from Sue. It turned her into the Tree of life that will now become the instrument of its completion to convert the rest of the humans into the sub-species.

The show is either very intelligently made OR it has a bunch of plotholes and the writers are overwhelmed with writing the story. Lets hope its the first one.

It's the tress that have been talking all this time, even before Sue planted the seeds there was tree. Which means someone in the past might have turned into trees and talking...

Exactly, because there are trees all over the planet, those trees have roots that reach into the ground soo, they have to be connected to the core as well, just not as powerful as the main tree that Sol wants them to grow. I believe Sol transmits through all the plant life on the planet.

Pretty sure sea creature took baby to protect it. One of the other creatures took Campion’s sister in season one. Both not dead.

Kepler is a crucible of creation running amok. Perhaps Grandmother (like Mother and Father) was a last-ditch effort created by ancient Kepler humans) to let AI manage the creation of new types of sentient life. The dark photon energy is so enduring and powerful, that it never switches off. But it continues to try and create sentient life, perhaps so it can manifest in our Universe as animate life forms and not just photons…?

I think Tempest baby being "spirited away" by that "female" acid merfolk signify the nature going to take care of the child so the child could survive in the planet, unlike what happened to Campion's siblings who died left & right from the radioactive elements.

I wonder what would've happened to the baby if Tempest had stayed in the village and gave birth rather than go to the acid sea to "purge" it 🤔 (I can't bring myself to say kill it) 😢 Would the Mermaid creature still have heard it's cries? I feel like the baby is safe however watching her go through ALL that labor and pain just to have the baby taken away was *HEART BREAKING* 😭😭 She's still gonna produce milk for a baby that isn't there... and BTW the fruit from the Sol tree looks gross af 🤢🤮🤮

I think there is a high chance the baby wouldn't survive in the atheist/human techs environment, just like what happened to Campion's siblings.

You should watch the trailer for the show "from" EP 5 of season 1 comes out tomorrow. It's on epix. It's another wild show with mystery behind it.

This show is so fire

The fruit from the Tree of Knowledge allows people to see the nanobots and understand how Eden was formed. Suddenly the people realized they were naked and eating each other. Super gross episode. I maintain its all teraforming. Kid gets raised by Android and eats subhuman to survive in season 1. The cannibalism is real and the tech for terraforming relies on life being altered by nanobots, like humans, who set foot on the planet that needs terraforming. Welcome back to the Eden that mankind escaped for Earth.

I think Grandmother stating father was her mate is because, perhaps he might of been long ago. Father has been rebuilt and reprogrammed many times. Another thing is father also provided Grandmother some of his own biofuel to help reanimate her. Like Eve was created from Adams rib. Paul said that Sal usually asks for a sacrifice for creating miracles, right when a miracle was performed and he was healed it didn't appear like that was the case. However, when Mary or whatever the lady's name is, turned into the tree, it seems like Sal may have gotten that sacrifice.

Remember when Marcus finds that strange carcass of the half evolved man? Then it begins to fully evolve. I wonder if all those "creatures" were once humans? Maybe Tempest baby can somehow reverse the evolution cycle for these creatures? Make them human again? Or a lesser version of monster?

I'm so glad I found your channel. I only have one other friend watching this show. I won't say I can't believe it's not more popular because... Snake baby and the acid mermen. But I will say most TV watchers are idiots

I think they running out of stories, its needs to end by the end of season 2. Its one of my all time favorite shows, kwts not ruined it.

Why cannot we just patiently enjoy the show as the story unfolds instead of spending hours coming up with theories and speculations. What a grand waste of time. The show hasn’t ended and this isn’t some unsolved mystery that we need to speculate LOL
