what do you think about season 2 ending with Grandmother placing everyone to sleep on those pods from the trailer? Maybe she will taken them to another part of the planet? What if she takes to the city from the scriptures? Or maybe they are going back to Earth?

I think there are two competing Apex Beings on Kepler 22-B. Maybe the Core is one, it can talk to those that have been in the holes, or those that reach out to "Sol" like Sue. Those temples may be an ancient network that gave the Core/Sol better connection or control to life on the planet. The Tree may take it a step further by gaining complete control of those that eat the fruit, making them an extension of the Core/Sol. The Aquatic creatures and the Devolved people might be trying to save humans from the Core/Sol. The way that creature carefully cradled the baby before placing it in it's chest cavity, which I assume will protect the baby from the acidic water, reminded me of Mother. MY THEORY... ⚠SPOILER WARNING⚠ Grandmother and Grandfather came to K22-B millions of years ago, just like mother and father did, with embryos and a mission to populate the planet. Just like mother and father, their parenting philosophies tend to differ. Unlike Mother, who has so much of her system devoted to weapons, I think GM can do what Campion said, "Grow cities, buildings, giant androids." , but more important, she can grow humans! She is what mother would be if her real main objective was being a mother and not a weapon. That is why the image of the fetus showed on her veil, sped up the growth of the baby, and took interest in the number of humans on the planet. Over time, GM and GF became aware of man's innate capacity for self-destruction. Maybe Grandfather believed the only way to ensure human survival was to take away their freewill, transforming from his android form to the Core/Sol in some evolutionary process. Grandmother tried to stop GF and was destroyed long ago. The Devolved and Aquatic creatures might be GM's allies who want to protect humanity from the Core. The Snake might be Sol's defender against Necromancers/Mother. If I'm right, I'm sorry I spoiled it for you. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry I led you down my rabbit hole of discombobulated theories.😜

The sea creatures and the dog like creatures from season one are basically the same (devolved humans) I think the differences comes from the habitats. You can basically see the aquatic’s version feet and legs fusing together like a mermaid’s tale. I’m starting to think this whole planet is a giant lab to experiment on humans and the planet itself was grown kind of like grandmother. I also think Campion is a clone of adult Campion’s, that would explain his latent knowledge of things on Kepler and mother just recognized his DNA. That could also imply a time travel aspect of the show that has not been made clear to us yet. The pilot episode said that mother, father and the embryos traveled on a fast ship (fast means time dilation in space basically) also during the opening sequence you see their ship seemed to have flown out of a wormhole of some kind. What do you guys think?! (Adding to my thoughts) the cave being seems like a mole version of devolved humans, if you pay attention to it’s eyes they were almost completely white as if the creature was adapting to the dark or loosing its vision. Could we maybe see a flying version of the creatures in a separate part of the planet?

Although it "wasn't" (Edit) expressly represented. I agree the knowledge of a baby coming changed Grandmother and I also think she had something to do with the Baby being taken. i'm not sure what or how of course, but we'll see. I'm also assuming everyone noticed the multiple Teetes on the creature that took the baby So it was clearly a female and plans to mother it. I believe it's possible that what happened to Tempest and her baby were events that made it possible for the baby to deal with the acid water and that world.

Can I also say one more thing? Is this acid water or not. People seem to take it pretty casually for something so deadly. If the water was really acid, than all those little puddles would be Acid puddles and the Wet Rocks would be Acid Covered Rocks and people are walking around and across them like nothing. I have played "The Floor is Lava" and this is not how it's done.

I’m gonna be so upset if they cancel this show before giving us a complete story. I absolutely love it, best sci-fi series in yeaaaars.

They already plan to create graphic novels to fill in the story's gaps, so if it gets canceled, they will probably create more graphic novels to finish the story.

The scene with the acid mermaid made me think there is some sort of ancient ritual to give babies to the sea creatures, looked to me as if the creature was acting like it was entitled to the baby and got mad when Tempest wouldn't hand it over, and the casual way it put the baby in its chest showed it wasn't the first time it's done that

Well she didn't want the child and became pregnant by this disgusting rapist and after she was forced through it. Tbh even if many shows imply you would love that child instinctively, I don't think so. I'd see the rapist and his will being carried out against everything I would want and none of the genes are from someone I would want mine mixed with. It repulses me like a cruel and twisted body horror perversion.

And here I was, holding out hope that Hunter and Tempest would raise the baby together and the two of them would become a couple.

That I was the only one about drop tear when Marcus touch tree and cried.its only time I felt sorry for him.

The baby didn't burn because Grandmother had it's DNA modified when she scanned it in the shack, that's also what accelerated the birth. So, yeah, that baby kidnapping creature was probably controlled by Grandmother. It seems that the entire planet of Kepler 22b is some sort of evolution testing facility run by some kind of super advanced dark photon AI (that's Sol, probably) that rapidly evolves or devolves creatures and then seeds other planets with successful life forms and after some time it brings those creatures back to add to it's genetic database or something.

Is there Kepler 22a? Maybe season 3 will introduce other areas of this planet. We are still missing 4 or 5 more of the polygon shaped temples.

I wish Paul turned into a tree instead of Sue. I think it would have been interesting to see Marcus and Sues relationship without Paul. Also, Sue is a better actor then Paul, it is a shame she will no longer be in the show.

Honestly 🙄 Paul is a little sh*t sometimes. I have a BAD feeling that he's gonna end up the "Cain" in the story, to Campion's "Abel". And that scares me, cuz I absolutely adore Campion, and think he's the perfect person to help lead people to a New Age. 😢 He's kind, sensitive, thoughtful, brave, intelligent, and respects people who have faith... but of course, also gets along great w/those who don't. He sees everything as having a soul, and treats it all accordingly. He's literally PERFECT, and so it scares me that later down the road... Paul is going to be his downfall somehow.

It’s no accident that the storyline is referencing the Garden of Eden, a Tree of Knowledge and a Snake. I’m curious to see how the story resolves into a cycle moving back on forth between Earth and the alien planet. The androids seem to play the part of Biblical angels.

@@maometus I have a theory what if there were 2 grandmothers… like ones the creator and the other one the destroyer… like there is in a lot of mythologies right those 2 were first and native to The land and then the humans came along “other grandmother” didn’t like them and tried to crouppt them… while fighting grandmother sent the “other grandmother” into the core of the planet or whatever like kept it tame and sent the rest of the humans to earth but some got left behind and she didn’t get there in time so slowly the devolved into those land and sea creatures… now that they r all back they have both come back to life? Given how the first season ended and that we only have 2 more episodes this season I'm honestly not expecting any real "answers" from the show. I wouldn't be surprised if this season ends with Paul riding the giant flying snake, like Falkor the Luck Dragon from Never Ending Story off into the sunset.

@@blazingocean4206 - But how could Grandmother have been "Sol" this whole time, when she was just dust & bones til Father found her? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤨 And Sol wasn't speaking ancient Mithraic to nobody. He was talking in a MALE voice too. Not that Androids can't change their voices, but still... I'm just not seeing it. I think Grandmother was an Android during the civilization that started the Mithraic religion. I think Androids were treated badly back then too. We saw how those hooded figures (in that flashback from season 1) had imprisoned an Android in some ritual, and was probably using it to give birth to serpents or whatever... Maybe there was 2 different factions on the planet back then, but either way... I don't think Grandmother was the Head Honcho in charge. Probably very powerful, nonetheless.

Just subbed. I loved this episode. One of the best of the series so far IMO. Just hope they are able to cap it off with a satisfying resolution at the end (whenever that is). It's been stellar so far

If the sea creature is under Grandmother's control, it's worth noting that an acid sea creature also kinda rescued Campion from Vrille in the previous episode. And when [forgot his name] caught up to Campion, Grandmother herself showed up to help him.

Oh wow, I had forgotten about that. I feel like the show gives you all the clues you need to figure things out but you kinda have to pay attention to every little detail. I love it.

Let’s not forget that Tempest’s baby is the result of Sol’s voice causing a priest to go on an assault rampage. Which oddly enough happened off planet making that baby super planned.

That mermaid monster baby kidnapping followed by one of the main characters turning into a giant tree is one of the reasons why i love this show, so so weird

Grandmother seems to be a birthbot like the ones depicted in the tarot vision, or in the cave painting of a pair of androids (two partners) sent to spread Sol's influence.

The "tarot" cards are better referred to as "memory cards" I think. My thought was that the hooded humanoid in season one could be an android.. maybe there are other ancient androids out there who are monitoring the unfoldment of the prophecy - The shaman humanoid seems to be watching pretty closely the activites of the group and has a map of the whole place. This occured to me in the scene where the creature leaps and climbs about in a way that's pretty impossible for a human, and it's hooded/veiled, so there is a link with the new development of grandmother's "caul" or veil. Also in a scene earlier this season, Marcus leaps up and scales a rockface with hardly any effort to collect the snakeskin that he sees in the sunlight. At that point in time he's got the dark photon power from mother's eyes.. giving him android-like power.. Another clue? The devolved creatures are fast and agile, but clumsy and seemingly unintelligent, whereas the humanoids seem slow and considered.. The shaman also left the metal cards out on the rock face glinting in the sun for Mother and the children to find - Given that the cards contain warnings or information of some kind, perhaps the shaman was trying to help/guide them by giving them these cards. Maybe these cards are like caches for memories that can be uploaded by androids or humans - Remember the first time Mother "scans" the card and then has a vision. The vision is a point-of-view on a ritual, the outcome unclear, but it's the perspective of a being, not just "footage". Maybe the cards can have memories directly downloaded and uploaded into them - memory cards! Paul throws a bunch of them in the fire because he thinks they're impure, and if they contain images of the past that warn about the ancient biotech that seems to be present on the planet then perhaps "Sol" doesn't want mother or the children to become aware of the past circumstances on Kepler 22-b and he influences Paul to burn them, maybe he just does it to be pious, but at that point Sol is about to tell him the true identity of Sue and Marcus, so it seems likely that he's being influenced. Also It seems like the box that contains the tree seed must be advanced tech and not a simple container, as it responds to the song and opens, but doesn't for the laser, it also seems to be directly linked to the snake, which is part android. Perhaps the box is the same type of tech as the cards, which could again imply that the cards are not specifically warnings, but caches for memory. The box opens in response to the human voice, like the cards respond to human touch. SO MANY DAMN THEORIES Shame there's only 2 more episodes, but this season is great so far. To be honest though a big criticism I have is that they use fake logs in the numerous firepits that appear in scenes, it looks cheap and tacky and nothing like a real fire. I get that it's easier for the production people not to light hundreds of fires for all the scenes they shoot but it's just lazy and looks like crap, brings the overall realism way down. I mean.. detailed costumes and CGI plus fake logs in the same show just isn't consistent.

I think the story is a paradox. I also believe the humanoid from season one is Paul. The humanoid built a map, traps, and carried a satchel, all of the traits of Paul. I think there will be a flashback season of past Kepler and another of the war on Earth.

Sol did say plant the “seeds” (plural) even tho there was only one. So maybe the “seeds” includes ppl eating the fruit/seeds from this single sprouted seed.

Also wondered that! All the trees are so weirdly shaped - and notice how the fruit on other trees had similar dark, red flesh (just not brainshaped and in massive walnut shells). Makes you wonder how many times this ancient Mithraic tree-planting business has occurred on that planet. Perhaps all the trees were once people and all the creatures were once people who ate the fruit.

This show is really turning out to be great hard-core sci-fi....I'm digging it

Awesome video. I dunno how you recall little details from previous episodes. I always watch your videos to make sure I didn't miss anything. But very sad episode because Mary is most likely dead.

Great recap, but one thing I wanted to mention is that Sue wasnt able to hear Sol's voice bc of Grandmother. The Tarantula is on the outisde of the Tropical Zone. They mentioned earlier in the season that it was not able to pass through the magnetic field. That is the reason she was able to hear him.

I just really hope they start answering some questions though. Getting more than just a little "mystery boxes" vibe. Cause if they keep building a mountain of mysteries, they're gonna leave so many threads unfinished with just the sheer volume of stuff they've yet to answer. Really hoping it all comes together in a cohesive way that shows how everything is linked, but I wouldn't hold my breathe. I've been burned way too many times before from promising shows.

Yeah it all Depends on how many seasons they got planned. But ur right, I hope as well they don't open up to many questions.. We obviously gonna be left with massive cliffhangers for season 3

Yea kind of like the show dark or the OA on nerflix. I kind of hate when they do this. And you get no answers until the very last minute of the entire series.

I will have nightmares after this episode. But what if the creature took the baby inside of it to protect it from the acid waters? What if Tempest takes her own life making her baby an orphan and the chosen one? I'm just thinking of alien Aquaman with a suit of armour agaisnt the acid water. XD

A couple of thoughts: a)Tempest’s birthing scene seems to be a parallel to Moses. Insofar, the child released upon the reeds of a river to be discovered by a handmaiden of a powerful figure and a child taken by a caretaker to the sea to be raised by ??? b) the creature that took the baby strangely seems to have mammary glands (da boobs) visible when closing the chest. This coupled with it seeming to have no problem breathing air seems to suggest a mammalian ancestry. c) the tree that Campion fell from seems to be of a similar species to the “SueTree” which seems to denote again to the cyclical series of events. Love your videos and a movie fan loved the Troll II reference! Have a great day!

This episode was about mothers & time. Grandmother is teaching the androids about the past, Tempest & sea creature is current events for Athiests & the creatures, and Sue as a Tree is the future for the Mithraic.

It's so Biblically related, I find it fascinating. Love the show, hope they make more shows like this. Just taking the religious views in scifi is sooo cool. Fan of vids too , keep it up!

totally agree, the tree of life and the serpent, the fruit of knowledge and if we include missing pages from the bible it was adam and Lilith(who turned into demon) first, and then Eve was inserted (grandmother) as the good one.

I feel like they're going to eventually go the route of "lost", where they lead you on and finally give you one semi satisfying answer to one particular question or mystery, and then detract from the satisfactoriness of it by issuing two more Mysteries / questions / twists. And then just milk that until it runs out of steam

Not really. For one, it's clear (imo) that things are intelligently put together in a coherent way, but alsoo the writer (or producer not sure) of the show said they know the story and how it ends. And they have material for 5-6 seasons... LOST kept improvising and that's why it was such a mess I thought about it too and I'm so glad that nowadays we get shows that have those rich puzzly elements of LOST but are actually thought-through (like this one and also Westworld). Smart, elegant storytelling :)

I think we will find out the song Mother is always humming is the same.

If you look closely the creature that grabs tempests baby has breasts, it’s a female / mother entity. This humanoid is also much more human-esq as it’s probably an adult version of the one we saw earlier. It’s clearly also sentiment on a much higher level than previously thought. Campion also describes the one they lured earlier as being a young so that may have been her child, or one of the young’s ones. It reacting to the babies cry could have been a motherly reaction, or it could have been coming to claim a replacement for the child it lost to Campion. It also came from one of the holes that we see on the surface yet it isn’t draining, this means there is most likely a subterranean level with air. This is why it enclosed the baby in its chest which is probably water-proof so the baby didn’t drown. Further upon the theme of creators disliking their creator but not having the will to kill it, this is most likely the same case with the ai. Perhaps much like in Prometheus, this ai created humans, hated how they were but couldn’t bring itself to completely kill it. This would also line up with the great flood story. It’s possible what marcus saw flowing through the tree was most likely similar to the veins he had earlier when swallowing the eyes, which was nano-bots (sol /life essentially) which he can now see flowing through infected objects. This tree may have potentially been a bio-bomb of sorts that will now infect possibly the garden, or at the very least those who eat it. Which may come down to mothers snake which is a vegetarian, or another MC. It could be possible that the snake refuses to eat it because as you pointed out it seems..fleshy.

Idk but that baby snatching scene was super emotional for me. And highkey I thought those seeds of the Sue-Tree were more symbolic of a women’s seed aka her eggs. Like when a woman is pregnant and after birth, like there is a constant sacrifice of the body to sustain and nurture offspring from her own body. So the brain looking things could be kinda like losing eggs like a menstruation looking thing. Idk tho.

This show is so wild! Love it!

Curious to see what happens to Marcus now that he ate the brain fruit? He told the guy who took the relic to hold onto it for him! Maybe he gets it back and just maybe he ends up being that humanoid barricaded in the cave! IDK

Good idea actually. The actors eyes are a very bright blue and that alien in the cave had similar eyes.

Grandmother is Sol

This is by far my favourite show right now!! I can’t remember a show that I wasn’t predicting every single development before hand . But raised by wolves is the exact opposite- the more I figure something is going right , we’ll I’m proved wrong and it goes left. I have given up trying to predict the comings and goings of the series and just am at peace with letting it hit me. I wish that I could watch this show literally 24 hours per day. Or I guess I wish I was on this planet 🌍 and i didn’t have to wait 7 days for my next fix , or worse yet , and I’m not sure how I will handle this, but when the season is ended and we will need to wait roughly an entire year. What will I do??? Please please let the new Aliens TV series come out early and fill the gap

The symbolism in the show is from most cultures like the tree and the serpent. It's like a cycle that that signal repeats like history repeats maybe someone sent the grandmother robot with humans in the past to evolve them to best suit the environment. So I think that the Kampian clone is part of the cycle too. The one mother knew on earth was a clone also. Probably made by the nanotech AI.

So we got plants, humans/creatures, and machines. so what do we get when all three combine? also feel like those creatures from season one might have been trying to take tempest and the baby back then. there are probably two types of "evolved" humans the acid water one and the deep cave dwellers both running from someone or something

This is becoming All tomorrows very quickly, and I love it :D

Please don't cancel this show after season 2 , so much more can be put into the story line , especially for Mother. It's one of the better sci fi series on tv and be such a shame for the characters to end in this way ! Please bring it back 🙏 thank you 😊

This is the wildest show I’ve seen in a long time and it’s fantastic.

First off great review, the more the show gives the more it confuses lol one of the only shows I watch as soon as it comes out, a part of my wishes I found it later so I can binge watch. How do I sleep thinking about tempest baby, or sue being a tree 😭

Perhaps the trees amplify "Sol's" influence (still think it's ancient AI). I definitely think eating the fruit will cause humans to devolve - I definitely do not think it will do what they are hoping it will do.

Actually big misconception... sunday is the first day. Not monday. It's the day of the sun, which is all powerful and rules the solar system. The second day is of the moon -"moonday" ... I won't get into details, but next are mars - tue, mercury - wed, jupiter -thu and friday is venus. The last day and the day without work is Saturday, also the last day in the bible and in our ancient times. Saturn marks the end of what we can see of the planets in the sky with naked eye! For the people long ago that was very, very, very important - it represented that end. Because smart souls long ago found out that everything is based on the same rhythm and they calculated and designed our whole life around it... observing it and understanding it so they can be in harmony with themselves. Saturday is connected with end, death and rest, which leads to not working on that day… as you can see it’s pretty obvious why. It's not sunday. Just saying...

Episode 6 Always more questions than answers Grandmother the Necromentian if she is similar to Mother where she comes from? why the giant snake is attacking Campion he senses a rivalry or something else. And Sue opens the pandora and finds a seed that she absorbs and becomes a tree! and the scariest scene the creatures take the baby from Tempers. This episode is even more amazing. I hope we will have the answers in the last episode.

It is such a crazy show I love it. It has really helped me fill the hole the Expanse left. Although not as great as that masterpiece it is definitely scratching my sci fi itch.

Sue was my favourite character. Sucks that she had to be sacrificed!

Sue digging in the ground mimicked the same thing Mother did in season 1, when she was going a little nutty. I have no idea what it means but I was like OOH a callback

There are a few interviews youtube with the show’s creator; Aaron Guzikowski and Selina Jones (Grandmother). Hardly anyone has seemed to watch them (they have really low view counts) that kinda gives some cool information about season 2. Just search Selina Jones raised by wolves on KZread. And they should pop up.

I was so saddened when Sue became the tree. It seems like I’m all religious type allegory there is a major blood/death sacrifice that has to happen in order for there to be growth and peace. This episode was a mind-f. I agree that I hope it’s not cancelled. The vision is to complete 5 seasons so I hope that remains. Thanks for the insight! I appreciate you.

As long as in the last episode they don't show all of this insanity being part of someone's dream or induced coma hallucinations.... crazier the better, I'm all in :)

Great show! I just fear that it's creating a lot of unresolved mysteries and might get Lost 😁. It's been very hard to predict so not really sure what to expect. Still missing more clues I guess

Lots of good points and observations in your video but one point of clarification. Campion Sr. who reprogrammed Mother and designed the Trust was born long after grandmother turned to a skeleton relic on Kelper 22b so no way for grandmother to know about either Campion Sr. OR Campion Jr. or their DNA so must be some other reason for the connection between grandmother and Campion

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that everything on this serie will end up being a loop (time loop or repetition of these events as a loop) from all the events of these two seasons. I don't have all the details since I don't write all these details down but: If Campion Sturges reprograms Mother to take a clone of himself into Kepler-22b, to be raised by her and Father, knowing that "he eventually" would find Grandma (which could be Mother, since they are equal, and she called Father her "partner"), allowing him grow in knowledge to eventually go back in time and "reprogram Grandma (who would be mother again) to take a clone of himself into Kepler-22b" then we are only missing what its going to happen in the rest of the episodes. Also, probably there is another party that wants the humans on this planet to avoid what the atheist are doing, and they create this paintings that will predict the coming of "two androids to this planet from another planet" (as we saw on Season 1), the prophecies of Paul building a city and create a whole religion around the Sun and call it Mithraic, used to control or guide those humans to achieve the expected result, by hiding all the needed tech to replicate the trip". The bones of a snake that we on Season 1 could easily be the ones from 7th or any of the children it might have. The fact that it is omnivorous it's the perfect trap to make it eat meat and love it (since the snake would be eating a fruit, and then realizing it is meat and dooming human kind on the planet). I don't know about the previous residents in the planet but, if I had to make a wild guess, they should be the reaming humans that come from previous trips. The ones that are used to acid could be connected to Tempest's child, thus, making a hybrid that can live outside the acid and inside as well. And, to avoid all going down and someone not doing what they have to do to repeat the loop, one or many are guiding everything to make it happens (concealed as the voice that speaks on everyone in the planet). I know there are many things that can be "loose ends" but, all the loops work on similar premises so, not gonna try to cover them all. Edit: Also, Grandma has a similar (if not the same) helmet that both Mother and Father had when they arrived Kepler-22b. Also, Grandma could grow "anything" which could foreshadow the fact that Mother could grow 7th, making her very versatile for anything of these kind of developments.

I think Sue can hear the voice because she works/lives in the gargantuan mothership, and that ship is parked outside of the EMF zone, so people in that area can still hear the voice.

I love this show!!!

If you pause the moment when the creature takes the babyytou can see that it has multiple breasts, also the face and complexion is different from the creatures we've seen before. The creature's attittude is completley different also, in fact, it's reaction to the baby it's pretty cute. It cuddles him, and it's expression is like "aww". If you pay atention you can see it dryies her hands in Tempest clothes and arms before taking it. That could be the reason why the baby is not melted away. That or the creatures secrets some kind of goo that protects it from the water's harm.

Also it seems that different sounds bring different kinds of sea creatures, like if the males/drones answered to threats and the females /matriarchs to endangered cubs.

I'm really enjoying the discussion about RBW generated with these posts. On a number of occasions there have been points made in comments by other viewers and RBW fans that I have found thought provoking and enlightening, even if they differ from my own speculations about where the show is going. Just putting it out there but what if it is in this story that who it is that raises the orphan is very important to whoever or whatever The Light is? More specifically, what if The Light wants its Chosen One to be someone that is sympathetic and caring towards the devolved humans? Now that the sea creature has taken Tempests' baby, we essentially have 3 orphans being raised by different parents (wolves??). All 3 orphans fit the description of the prophesied one but due to their different upbringings and influences upon them, it appears that not all 3 will be intrinsically able to fulfill the prophecy. Paul is an orphan raised by Marcus and Sue / Mary (both atheists posing as Mithraic) for many years while they were all in hypersleep. And now, Paul is sympathetic only towards those of the Mithraic faith as shown by his change in attitude towards Sue after she became a 'believer' in SOL. Campion is an orphan raised by Mother and Father who are both androids programmed to be antagonistic towards the Mithraic faith. Campion is sympathetic towards androids (esp. Virell), atheists, Mithraic believers and serpents. I'm not certain but to date, I have not seen how sympathetic and caring Campion is towards the devolved humans; other than the fact that he doesn't want to eat them. Yes, Campion says that 'everything has a soul' but does he view the devolved humans as anything more than animal-like creatures? Though Tempest and Othos' baby is also fatherless, at this time it is different to Paul and Campion in one key area. Paul has a father figure in Marcus. Campion has a father figure in Father. The baby was taken by a sea creature that appears to be female. Though its growth will be accelerated due to some of Grandmother's power, we have yet to see what kind of father figure it will have to influence it. Hunter came close to becoming a father figure for the baby but was too late. If some of the other comments hold true and the devolved humans are closer to being 'pure' than humans are, then they will still hold value to SOL / The Light. Although the creatures seem now closer to being animals than human, they are still a creature that has been created - especially given that they were formerly humans. If their welfare and existence is still cared about and of value to SOL / The Light, then the One chosen by It must be a person that cares about the devolved creatures also. I think that because Tempest and Otho's baby was taken by devolved humans it may be raised by them also. As a result. the baby will be sympathetic and caring towards them also. That is something that neither Paul nor Campion have been so far. Perhaps SOL / The Light desires a deliverer that will deliver all classes of creation to the Tree and thus to fellowship and communion with It so that SOL can communicate directly and personally with each of them. It's only a technical point and I'm not sure whether it's valuable information but although both Paul and Campion are both orphans, they are not without 'fathers' or father figures. Paul has Marcus and Campion has Father. We haven't yet seen if Tempest and Othos' baby - which is also an orphan - will have a father figure to guide it. The baby may be raised by the female creature that took it from Tempest. My point is that because of the points listed above, the baby may fit the description in the prophecy more so than either Paul or Campion. As stated earlier, given how the baby will be raised and who it will be raised by, it will most likely not be discriminatory against devolved humans nor will it view them as a lesser class of creation like how Paul and Campion might view them
