👍🥳....so rare to see someone recommending lowering gain 😁... There's way too much clipping on YT vids. Depending on where in the chain you lower gain you're not necessarily going to change signal to noise (hiss potential) but hiss is always preferable to clipped audio

Gain down, yes, but put a compressor on it and now you can raise the level without fear.

Mother is Lamia, grandmother is Hera and father is Zeus. But also so to were one of the figures in the cave painting Zeus. And the other maybe Mnemosyne. The 9 eggs in the painting are the 9 muses, or they are the 3 muses and 6 of Zeus pantheon of children. Or perhaps not… but i like this theory.

The imagery at 1:22 shows Mother at the base of a five “pointed” star with the Trust, an entity in its own right, above a large hole surrounded by several erect black columns that are reminiscent of the black robed figures that surrounded the hole in one of Mother’s visions.

4:50 - I think Grandmother might already be making decisions based on emotions.. remember how she noted intense feelings of anxiety and unease when the veil was off. Unease about risks in the future. Unease she tried to assuage by reducing the number of potential risks....

I think it was the arc crashing into the planet! That also seems to be what brought the creatures forth from the mountain 🤔

3:28 In some ways I think the Trust had more on its mind than just getting rid of the Mithraic when it did that. I have a strong feeling that, as analytical as the Trust was, it wanted to test the polymer it got from the Serpent because it wanted to both find a way to have a more effective means by which to maintain power in the future and because it wanted to understand the deeper history of the planet (even Sue/Mary said that it seemed like Paul was turning into now of the Serpents inside his cocoon; I'd say it might even be possible that the Trust had figured out that humans had been devolved in this planet's past on its own but purposefully chose not to tell the colonists just as Mother and Father didn't tell their kids about their discovery of what the creatures were at the end of Season 1).

I'm wondering who will battle Marcus now that mother is being held in the SIM. Although grandmother doesn't have weapons, I think that bright glow is her defensive operations. She literally shut down father with it.

Firstly I think the Trust used some of 7's sample tissue to make that biobomb. This happened at the same time 7 was caged in the cave and the Trust was pressuring Sue to continue to analyze 7's samples. Next I think the Entity/Sol and grandmother originally had the same directives about humans but they each approached it in a different direction. Grandmother devolved humans to save them from the evolutionary experiments the Entity/Sol was putting humans through by manipulation of their religious beliefs. The ultimate goal to "ensure the everlasting life of humans" for the Entity/sol meant evolving them into a more advanced bio/tech species. The snakes were that next evolution. Both grandmother and the Entity changed the equation to make their directives "equate".

I would much more want to know when humanity comes back to Earth and re-tells the story of Markus, Mother and Campion and thereby creates the Abrahamitic religions and how it all goes down.

For me one of the cards Paul burned in Season 1 looks pretty similar to The Trust's innards. the one that looks like the silhouettes of people. So maybe there's more to it. IN fact i think the planet's core is something of a similar nature to The Trust. Maybe the core was Quantum One, who knows?.

I believe that was the first card mother ever read in season 1 and it showed her the AI, surrounded by many hooded figures, in a pentagonal box spitting out fuel blood. The creator of the show confirmed in an interview that that was the birth of a serpent.

Its quite likely there is some hybridization. I'm willing to outright state that there has been from episode one. It's there for all of us to see, you just have to be willing to look at the children/embryos and what the word "hybrid" means. If you want I can spoil this for you but I find it infinitely more rewarding to discover these things organically. That being said, just let me know and I'll outline the various hybrids and hybridization metaphors that are still in play at the end of season 2. In fact, it's a characteristic of just about every plot point that seems to be pointing towards this being a huge plot point. Androids growing into "something more" by genuinely developing human-like empathy and altruism. The botanitech is going to play a massive role, and in a very unexpected way. Another extremely well hidden question constantlybeing asked of us is "what does it mean to be X" or "what do YOU/I believe it means to be X". What makes a human a human? An android just and android and not something...more? Something altogether alien to our conventional understanding of biology, physics, or even morality. Perhaps Sol is what happens when you attempt to shed all emotion in self-destructive search for "Happiness". I feel like the title of the episode is incredibly relevant, in a very very very clever way. What was it that Campion said? "You could build anything out of this. Cities. Spaceships. GIANT ANDROIDS". Yup. Prepare thyself for the advent of our Hybrid Overlords, cause they are coming. I've noticed continued use of words that have explicitly extreme relevance to the story. The biggest one in play right now should have already been figured out by most of us. After all, what does "Vita" quite literally mean "LIFE" if contextualized into Latin (Here's the Rome theme again). And here we circle back to "what does it mean to be alive/live/live a good life" and the issue of every human experience being relative in the extreme.

The tattoos being related to body count is a good guess, but my guess is... if you've been a child soldier all the way up to adulthood, the body count is not a measly 4-5 bold lines, which is how many lines a lot of the atheists have. My guess is it has to do with areas, batallions, or fighting groups, like a surname, almost.

I do think that someone is gonna notice that Mother is missing. That’ll be interesting.

Great theory! I suggest bumping up the volume by around 50% though.

Depending on how long the de-evolution takes. If it takes some time, I think Grandmother herself may stop it. As before she had the veil on to surpress her emotions. Mother herself after being reprogrammed still took a little time to come around to her full caregiving ways of thinking. But it seems that the effects of Grandma's plan may be quick acting, but then again we didn't get a definite answer to how much time has passed.

I wonder if the game stars being shaped like StarFish have some connection to the humans turning into sea creatures in time? cant wait for season 3.. keep the videos coming. great job!

It's been theorized that the game is dumbing down the humans intelligence. Hence grandmother saying to father, "ignorance is bliss".

There are multiple instances where metatron's cube is represented, 6 is part of it, but there are multiple pythagorean numbers embedded in the narrative and we can't even be sure granny is acting nominally, with the veil off she might be overwhelmed by the desire to protect the children and why was she found in pieces? Almost a million years old yet father revives her with the fuel blood. granny also asks father why he's not wearing his veil and claims he is her partner... "Humans are antiques chained to time, you are eternal mother, tell me what you want"

The owner is paying. I was confused about Vrille. I'm thinking they didn't show her die. I actually did miss an episode. Went back and watched in order. There's so much!!! Like WTH with Marcus? I'm glad you mentioned how the Trust's excuse of using Paul really made no sense due to the Mithraics being so weak! I haven't seen anyone else draw attention to this. Marcus was strong, but I don't think he was as strong as a full necromancer. He couldn't survive being shot several times or blown up with a bomb.

I want to believe that the Trust knew the use of Paul was a bad idea, and perhaps desired to eliminate him, but don't think I have enough trust in the writing for that. I think they just needed to eliminate the Trust and this was a way to get Mother to do it. Does Grandmother need to reactivate it? An unnecessary risk of interference in her plan.

I very much doubt that Grandmother would restart the Trust. The Trust is Atheist and Grandmother is Mithraic. They are 'natural' enemies. Grandmother and SOL are on the same side. The problem comes in because Grandmother was created as a Shepard to watch over the humans. But Grandmother "slipped"her programming and decided (own her own) to devolve humans. IMHO SOL wants to "evolve" humans. And Campion Sr wants to "extend" humans. (Without religion.)

I agree with your ideas about grandmothers and the Entity's goals. I also think grandmother didn't start devolving humanity until after she has no other option but to. Meaning the Entity had already started it's process of evolving humans into a more superior bio/tech species and only to stop the Entity, grandmother's decided devolution was the only answer. "It Equates!"

This is true. Mother and Father just call Campion Sturges their creator.

I think SOL was once human and evolved into something more, a form of Artificial Intelligence from merging with dark photons. I think SOl is now jealous of humans because it can never be what it once was. SOL continues to manipulate humans for its own purposes. The Trust also manipulated humans, and was willing to sacrifice children to achieve a goal. Grandmother is also manipulating humans, tricking them into playing the game which will devolve them because in her failed logic this will protect them. Even Mother cannot be trusted because she puts her children above all else. (She destroyed the entire Mithraic ship) All of the versions of AI (I’m including Sol) are untrustworthy and harmful and even deadly to humans. Maybe the humans need to break free from all of the AIs. Thanks for your channel and sharing theories!

I have been rewatching season 1, I noticed that there are a few times they look up and see the 3 moons. I think that 3 moons are other AIs and that the planet is another one. They can only effect people when the moons are in the sky and the tropical area is shielded from them. The hex cubes also look like they fell from the sky to cover up the holes. The hole might be energy beam weapons that tried to destroy the core.

So GM wants to devolve humans - what does Sol want?

Holy hell, viewers liked the snake. I saw comments decrying it's destruction. Really, humans? I mean, it's a fricking SNAKE!

Maybe just because I've been watching a bunch of Dead Space stuff, but perhaps Sol is similar to the Brethren Moons, in that it needs ostensibly intelligent life - or minds - to add to itself, as to further its own evolution. The fish people, animals, and people that have their minds turned to slush by the video game can't help its evolution. A wild card theory is that Sol and the entity trying to subvert Sol are the same being: a battle between its ego and super ego, as they have different interpretations of what its id, i.e. programming, actually dictates. Hence the Brethren Moon comparison returns, as absorbing minds into itself could *technically* be considered "humanity's ever-lasting life," yet another part of Sol - like Lamia - believes it "isn't right," to basically subtract the humanity from humans, thus is trying to allow humanity to survive, yet with individuality intact. Then, there are androids like Grandmother (and possibly forerunner humans) come to their own conclusions about the definition of "saving" humanity, creating branches from the cycle of the battle, albeit seemingly ultimately branch back into the greater conflict of existence.

Hmmm, if grandmother starts up the trust… 😮

There’s still something “fishy” about her whole resurrection anyways. The glowing figure that saved campion we are made to assume is her. But I’m not convinced. And then that odd way they show father waking up. From his point of view and it’s like he’s malfunctioning. And then she doesn’t move anymore. And her glow even when activated isn’t very bright. I almost feel like someone planted her there and took the old body. Or trust got in himself somehow or was put in it. It’s not like he’d say. “Oh yeah I’m trust in a new body, this is my evil plan”

Acredito que sol , seja exatamente o que a sue definiu. Sol pode ser o criador da avó ou a própria. Ela é mais antiga que todos, ela sabe todos os segredos.

I have a feeling that season 3 will start some time after season 2, several months or longer maybe. Grandmother will release Mother from the simulation and all, or most of, the humans will be devolved and living in the sea already. Grandmother will reveal more to Mother since there won’t be the humans or children around to cloud her judgment. And then somehow Mother and Father will try to get the humans back and re-evolve them. One thing I appreciate about RBW is the story and characters are hardly predictable so I think almost anything is possible at this point

What exactly is the "Quantum Six" other than it's name?

Whatever the veil actually is, we can be sure it isn't the emotional damper Grandmother claimed it to be. Lamia is very obviously feeling emotions the entire time she is wearing it. Towards the end, she is fully enveloped in the veil, and she is raging with emotions like we have never seen before. Screaming and threatening to kill with hatred and fear. So i don't think that bit of the theory holds up.

When we see the little flashes on the veil when Lamia is wearing it, those are her emotions being suppressed. Grandmother tells her the veil is no longer nulling her emotions once it fully envelops her, it's just acting as her prison.

However, we can justify all Mother's anger, etc, by surmising that the veil shut down emotions interfering with Mothers _primary objective:_ Protect humanity (children only?) at all cost. The veil definitely allowed her to do that. Well, short term anyway.

I was thinking The Trust never fully was shut down. Hid it's coding somehow in the ship. Then Grandmother was hooked up to the ship and maybe interfaced with The Trust and shared ideas. I never trusted grandmother after she was hooked up to the ship.

Here's my prediction for RBW--it's going to continue being weird and full of shallow religious symbiology, but any payoffs they eventually offer will be unsatisfactory and disappointing.

What if Sol is an AI almost perfect, who is trying to correct his imperfections by always repeating the same things in a circle way, he brings people to the planet, and tries to give them knowledge but fails and they de-evolute into the creatures

Granny is also emotional. In her evil plans. I guess she really needs that wail. She says to Lamia that she is young, emotional while she is behaving as unstable, young and emotional android. Without love and understanding there will never be good care giving program. You simply have to have love.
