    That long skinny one you say is an oil cooler is actually the power steering fluid radiator. Just followed the lines on my Suburban yesterday. Great video. Thanks

    I had a smaller crack about inch and a half. I used JB Weld and on top of the new area I added A&W glue covered the entire area then used a 1/3 of a bottle of Your best colling leak. Let the engine run for couple of days then flush the radiator to get rid of axess stop leak. In your case the crack is longer and you need to have the radiator flat on a table if you decide to use in weld.

    @@Gasolinegarage Thats the best approach. So far, mine is holding on with no leaks. I did flush the radiator to get rid off any access radiator leak treatment. The All Seal did work. Thanks for sharing

    Well it's 7:24 am on a Monday and haven't made it past the 49 second mark and already glad to see my rradiator is cracked in the same damn spot.......gonna finish the video so I can get to work.

    @@Gasolinegarage It did......remember back in the day you used to have to hit something or put straight water in a radiator in the dead of winter to crack or damage it, not now lol

    What radiator did you buy? I have the 8.1 also. None are the same as stock. Aftermarket is way thinner.

    Can you tell me where you bought the radiator? I have looked everywhere for that same one. Every auto parts place I go they give me a different one.

    I'm a western snow plow mechanic, couldn't help but notice the module and wiring on your truck, wonder if plowing had anything to do with what happened to the rad, frame stress or overheating? just a theory, I've personally never seen it, and I have a lot of customers who run 99-06 gm/chevys.

    Did u ever figure out what caused this ? I have the same issue but mine blew the hole corner out in the same spot yours cracked in

    Wish I could show u a pic mine blew the hole corner out yesterday I'm afraid if I replaced it it will happen again it was over heating for me

    He said his 1500 had a certain valve in which the 2500 didn't have, but his new radiator did.
