  • @Living_Dead_Girrl

    @Living_Dead_Girrl

    8 ай бұрын

    Welcome to how certain minority groups have had their own culture turned into a “slur,” dehumanizing someone by calling them “a Jew” or “a Black” - in order to get around saying socially unacceptable slurs. Every single day the world turns their back and says nothing about turning our ethnicity and culture in a slur, and I assure you, they know their grammar just fine. I’ve been dealing with this my entire life, and now worse than I could ever imagine. Devastating to see it happening to more marginalized communities, because its so insidious that you don’t no longer feel comfortable or safe discussing your identity with anyone outside of it. A human being isn’t “a black” or “a Jew” - we’re *people* . Proper grammar = Jewish, or Jewish person. And unless a person’s ethnicity or race is the subject of conversation, their identity shouldn’t casually be brought up at all - unless its too defend that individual against bigotry. It’s a culture of dehumanization by a society that still places Whiteness above all else. When people see injustice, they must shut it down every single time. Silence is violence. Tired of being the only one fighting for myself, my people, and all other minorities because I can’t stand idly by. Its not humanly possible for me to do nothing - and that’s why I can’t relate to the majority who do just that: nothing. It’s why I’ll never be safe. Our society’s become selective about who deserves to be treated like a human being, because everybody’s buying into certain conspiracies now. The oldest hatred’s the oldest trick in the book: scapegoat the vulnerable so the people target them instead of the real oppressor. Everyone refuses to learn this fact staring them straight in the eyes, and on the pages of the history books being heavily censored as we speak. Why’s everyone silent about Holocaust books being banned the most? That’s the real terror. Headlines focus on the surface-level distraction - the banning of LGBT books, while they ban books about black slavery, Jim Crowe, and blacklist every book authored by a Holocaust survivor and most Jewish authors. Its like they borrowed the book ban lists from the Third Reich verbatim. Books about humanism, psychology, authors like Freud and Maslow. Its exactly the same.

    From the news article about this: Gina Aiello was degrading McDonald’s employees at the drive-thru window. Luis Aceves is the man who confronted the woman in the video. He said the woman exploded at employees over a soda. Mr. Aceves said, “Employees were already explaining that someone was cussing at them through the drive-thru window. We overheard her, too. For me, it was like alright, that’s none of my business, but then she started telling people "who are you, look at where you work, look at what you’re wearing, you’re working at McDonald’s." A few CEOs have even been been forced to resign (Who can forget Uber's CEO bullying his Uber driver?!)... Yet people still brazenly act like fools out in public, seemingly unaware they are putting their livelihoods on the line: The ability to pay their mortgages, car payments, kids' school tuition, etc (and often, bringing about the end of a marriage) all because of a few seconds of ugly behavior! It's almost impossible to believe these people feel so entitled that they are blind to how karma works. It's bizarre, and fascinating at the same time!

    Ah, you are one of those. So a person should never get another good job because she got upset one day and said a bad word to another person? If that were the case for all people in this country, most Americans would be working at McDonalds the rest of their lives. Back when I was a kid, if someone said "f'in Mexican" to a Mexican, they would get punch in the mouth and that would be that. They would learn their lesson, but then they could move on with their life. But nowadays this cancel culture is f'in nuts. You liberals have destroyed the country.

    Only if you are a certain color. Have you noticed the hundreds of other videos online when POC are saying horrible things about white people, yet the POC never get fired from their jobs? It's gotten out of hand. I have no problem if a person gets fired because they have said really bad things about someone else and it was filmed, but it has to go both ways. It shouldn't matter what skin colors are involved.

    Not only was the racism absolutely disgusting, but also the privilege when she was talking ill about the employees and looking on down on them for where they work. It's been said many times before and it needs to be repeated over and over... You can *_NOT_* demand a service while also degrading the people who provide it. The myth that certain jobs "aren't real jobs", and that the people who work those jobs don't deserve respect and should have to live on poverty wages is a _major_ problem in the US right now.

    Being a Mexican is fabulous & their food is too so thank you for existing! I love food from all cultures, we all need to celebrate each other because our differences in Culture is what makes living on earth so much more interesting. Imagine if the only food available to eat was boiled carrots that would be boring. Judge someone based on their character or lack there of not on their skin color and ethnicity, more than that stop judging and look inside at who you are and become a good person that Jehovah God approves of if everyone did that there would be a world full of good people, soon only meek people who love Jehovah will be allowed to live on earth
