Your report sounds like he had a random affair with a “non city employee” we hen the truth is he had a two year affair with a Fresno Police officers wife! Why not report the whole truth! This is why nobody trusts the media! Half truths or lies! I pray for all involved. Chief instead of worrying about you and and apologizing to your department and quoting scripture and toting your rosary 📿 and making it clear it was from an officer (we can see what your doing) try apologizing to the officer you betrayed, his wife you helped yourself to and his children (if any) Coming off defensively doesn’t show remorse it shows entitlement. Sir you most certainly deserve to be forgiven and I hope all involved can. You violated that officer’s trust, all of the officers trust and the city’s trust. Trust takes years to regain and sir we don’t have years. You should do the right thing and resign. Show some respect for the officers, the city and her citizens. It’s a good start to forgiveness. This gives you time to help your family and yourself and Fresno a chance to find someone else. Please remember you didn’t come forward and do the right thing you were gonna be outed, here’s your chance.
