Raga Bageshri is an enticing raga that a lot of students want to learn. Here's Aradhana ji's free online tutorial of Rag Bageshree.
Here's the notation of Raga Bageshree:
NOTE - Please understand all symbols used before attempting to read the notation.
(i) The use of an asterisk (*) indicates the usage of a Komal Swar.
(ii) The use of a Single Apostrophe ( ' ) indicates higher octave (Taar Saptak) of a Swar. For example: (Sa) would indicate the medium octave, while ( Sa') would indicate the higher octave.
(iii) Swaras or Notes of Lower Octave (Mandra Saptak) are denoted in small letters. Taking the previous example forward, Sa would be in the middle octave, Sa' would indicate higher octave, while sa would indicate the lower octave.
