king Sharma sorry brother.. there is no 16 beat Tal in this composition. It’s all Ek Taal, vilambat and Drut at the end . Peace ✌️... count it as suggested.

Why do I count 8 beats per bol rather than 4 as suggested?

No doubt the rendering of this night Raag by Pandit Jasraj is quite unique and sublime bringing out the spiritual quality of Indian classical music which takes listeners to the higher realms of consciousness to be able to merge into OM. Very few artists have this capacity to reach the oneness with Divine thus making it true meditation.

That is where I started my interest in classical music, I was getting the cassettes around 1996, if I remember correctly I got it as part of India Today subscription.
It's the best rendered by anybody so far.great,panditji will always be remembered for giving full 100% justice to the swars and the tonal qualities of the bandishes.
