I love how this is sung. Yes the technicalities and theory of alaap, taans, bol alaaps, sargams, raag, taal, like aroh, avaroh, raag ka chalan, pakad, vadi and samvadi notes and all of that is there and important, but so is the “bhav” which is very very important. Each raag has a bhaav and these two ladies sailiji and niraliji have definitely brought that out in this piece. That is definitely ashwini bhide tai’s style of singing. Bringing out the bhav of a raag.
