I feel India has so much of an advanced culture. This music speaks of it. I recall doing a sound check that took 'forever' while musicians tuned up. For me 2 minutes was 'in tune' but they continued tuning for 10-15 mins into the "Super tune" zone. It seemed spiritually hypnotic. I love this video even more because of that past experience, learning how deep Indian musicians dig. I dig them...

You could clearly feel the difference between electronic auto tune music and human instrumental talent. It literally goes to your heart and mind at same time and make them sync to feel the emotion throughout your body. All the instrumentalists are pure gems to be appreciated and recognized worldwide!!!

Anoushka has given her soul to this form of music and at the same time incorporated innovation in her style of playing. Bless you Anoushka. India's musical and artistic culture is rich and profoundly subtle. I'm continually amazed at what can be done musically with melody and rhythm. Although there is no harmonic structure or modulation as in Western music, nothing is missing.
Legendary sitar Maestro Ravi Shankar left a legacy behind and his daughter has taken his work to even greater heights. Absolute Divine piece of art. This music feels like one has attained Nirvana. Mesimerizing Divine.

Love from Brazil. Música magnífica. Realmente toca a alma.
Shenhai and Sitar giving each other that complex mixing it into another emotion meanwhile Mridangam guy was handling the beautiful chaos in the base. This 13 minutes felt timeless
It is heart breaking that today youngsters are made behind the mechanised remake music in India. People don't even know the sweetness of these instruments. People like Neha K, Tony kakkar, baadshah getting famous is evidence of direction where are future is going.
It turns out that there is much evidence that supports the positive effects of music on one's ability to do math. Most research shows that when children are trained in music at a young age, they tend to improve in their math skills. The surprising thing in this research is not that music as a whole is enhancing math skills. It is certain aspects of music that are affecting mathematics ability in a big way. Studies done mostly in children of young age show that their academic performance increases after a certain period of music education and training. One particular study published in the journal 'Nature' showed that when groups of first graders were given music instruction that emphasized sequential skill development and musical games involving rhythmn and pitch, after six months, the students scored significantly better in math than students in groups that received traditional music instruction.

Perfectly inherited the legacy from her Father. Unfortunately the Classical music is at diminishing stage in India, Majority of Youngsters don't even know about the Legend Pandit Ravi Shankar and that's very sad. Thanks to the western world for keeping Classical music alive. Pandit ji has played a big role to preserve it by taking it to west. The Charisma of his sitar will never fade!!
