    At one stage in the eighties some scheduled Vline trains went to Ballarat via North Geelong. Glad I travelled on one when you could do that. Not sure why they did that for the Saturday timetable. Might have been the Great Northern Limited booked train.

    I recall a brief stint in the 90s when sprinters did that Ballarat via Geelong too.. good memories
