Alex Lifeson.... You are better than you even think you are. Just amazing. I've listened, watched you THOUSANDS of times. Every time I watch you again, I'm reminded how amazing you are. You don't get the credit you deserve. You're a bad-ass guitarist, a genius

I think it says a lot about a band that after 40 years they can still enjoy playing on stage and actually enjoy playing together. I think this is one of the reasons why they were so successful, as well as being great musicians, they were also great friends.

Geddy and Alex spun around on him with a "HUH??" kind of look on their faces and Neil just pulled his head down into his shoulders with an "opps, i farted" grin on his face. the thing is, when gods mess up, it reminds us we're all human :-) RIP Neil. we miss you so much.

A priceless piece of footage. We will not see their like again. And l suspect this was the encore and maybe Alex had toked up a bit but my God, what a tour de force for him. This was always personal with RUSH with their fans - as it is with us with them. There is not many bands that has that kind of personal impact with their fans as this one has enjoyed. Dan Campbell they were indeed special. I knew they were something special in 1977 when I got my first Rush album and heard 2112 for the first time. BLOWN AWAY! I listened to that album over and over and each new album that came out I’d “Rush out” to get the next installment. But it wasn’t until I was on a US Navy destroyer in the middle of the Mediterranean that I really appreciated Farewell to Kings and drowned myself in Xanadu that the extent of their talent really set in. At my first port of call I went looking for a record shop and bought Moving Pictures and thought that there was no way they could top the recent albums but man was I wrong. ......... Now I’m getting old and I am moved with emotion listening to their mastery wishing I had seen them more than just once live. They will be remembered as the most talented rock n roll band in history!!
Rush members energy and complicity on stage is just outstanding. They just love being a trio!
That is the definition of excellence. It is just so easy for them that they can goof around, Alex is trying real hard to crack up Geddy and Neil but all the while they don't miss a beat or a note. Incredible.
Damn!! This stuff never gets old. RIP Neal, best drummer ever!!!

Sure can tell they have fun playing together! It was an honor seeing them in concert!

So much music from only three people, Amazing
Rush sounds more AMAZING Live then on CD. This band is simply THE BEST!
I've always liked that sound when Neil hits the hi-hat, and closes it with a kick drum. Nobody achieves it as perfect as he. f#ckn tight
To keep that going for 40 f'ing years is once in a million. Maybe a trillion. Hats off Rush..well done.
The musicianship makes me cry! This trio is the real deal!
A bloody masterpiece! Alex shows us how to play a beautifully melodic, technically superb solo. The three masters are in top form. Rush shows us what it is like to be at once a comedic and iconic rock band, perhaps the best there ever was. No easy feat.
8:31 that drop is so chilling, Jesus. Amazing
yeah my first listen I was in awe still am 40 somethin years later
They are just having so much fun. This is a joy to watch.

I could watch this a billion times over and never get enugh!
4:35 is a pinnacle of the thing, coolest lick from Geddy Lee.
Lifeson's preciseness and subtlety on a solo like La Villa Strangiato is underrated. I know everyone says he's underrated but it takes real musicianship to write and perform something like what we see from 2:17 to 3:43. It's those little details. Even the way it transitions off into those palm mutes is excellent in how it phases to the next part of the song. As where another guitarist would have gone right into the hard part of the solo, Alex builds up to it carefully with delicately placed bends until it reaches that suspense point.
6:40-8:39 omg I love Alex! 😂😂😂 And just when you think he's done being hilarious, he does it again later on, haha Thx a million for posting 👍🙏😊 RIP Neil Peart 🌹

I saw Rush in Santa Ana tcalif three days in a row in 1986, Amazing band! Supreme talent. During the opening song Spirit of Rado, Alex guitar string broke, and Geddy just ran over to the synthesizer and continued like nothing happened. As a guitar player I know if a string broke while I was performing I'd be freaking out.
