I did the same Gary H. I was 14 yrs old in '91 when I got a call from a buddy and he played half of Roll The Bones on the phone for me during christmas break from jr. high. He said, "Pablo listen to what he's saying." We dug deep into lyrics trying to decipher their meanings.

Alex is and will always be in the top guitarist of all time. Nobody plays like him, and we will never see this again. Truly a gift from god!

Absolutely one of my favorites! I choose not to see Rush in terms of periods or, stages. They made amazing music throughout their career. Every stage has its peaks! For me, the ultimate peak is Xanadu, studio or live, I don’t care!

I have seen RUSH countless times since 1977 (Lord I'm old), and I will NEVER forget the amazing musicianship amongst these 3 men, and how they were so sorely cheated out of consideration as "greatness" amongst the music industry. Neil can NEVER be duplicated as with Robin Williams as an example. My heart hurts terribly when I think of the great concerts, the books, the meetings, everything that this band was, Neil was to the music industry. What a blessing to those who experienced RUSH...what a shame to those that didn't.

A few months ago, I stumbled upon a comment left by some ignorant trolling jackass who dared to say Neil was overrated. Couldn't resist answering, telling the bozo that if anything, Neil was not only underrated as a drummer but as a lyricist and as just about everything he put his heart, mind and soul to.

The thing is that this kind of music flies under the radar, no matter the era. It’s easy to scoff at nerdy, technical hobbies and forms of entertainment. In the same way that it’s easy to say that pop music has no soul, the unacquainted look at prog rock and similar styles as a replacement of the heart with the brain. However, Rush’s music subverts this constantly. It might be one of the reasons why they bordered on mainstream at some points. The heart is undeniable in songs like these.

Was one of his favorite songs to play.

About ten years ago, I had to say goodbye to my step-dad, a truly fine and good man taken too soon from this life. On the morning, a thousand miles from my home, that I rose in the dark but knew that he didn’t have long, I put on my earphones for my portable CD player. And in the pre-dawn, I listened to “Bravado”. And then rose and did and said what I had to say and do. Bless you, Rush, for being a part of my life for years, and bless you, Neil, for giving words to that soundtrack.

These guys stir my emotions in why's I can't describe, I will miss them with a deep heartfelt pain. Maybe someday I will ride with the ghost rider. Thanks RUSH for so many years of amazing, incredible, just magnificent soul moving music. Forever rush, rush forever!

The ending chorus after the guitar solo is actually pretty complex from a drumming standpoint. He's showing off excellent hand-independence and it would normally require two drummers to play that beat.

This song helped me so much when I was in the hospital. Its a masterpiece.

This is my favorite version of my favorite song. Years ago, when it was at just a couple of thousand views, I would share it each time it hit a new 5k view milestone. I haven't been here in a while, and I'm happy to see it now has been loved by so many.

This is one of my favorite 90’s Rush songs. Geddy still had his voice during this tour. I will miss these guys.

Although I loved Rush since the end of the 70's somehow I lost connection and never heard this song til now. Since yesterday this magnificent melody is playing non stop on repeat in my house! Rest easy beautiful soul!!!!!!!

Idiscovered them from friends who had a garage band in the 80’s I was 15 or so my first song was Tom Sawyer grew up with Rush, I just hit 50 and still RUSH is my favorite band I rediscover songs that I have listened so many times and I discover new meanings. When Neil passed the whole day I listened to RUSH it was my kind of homage to him .

Thank you so much Neil. The love definitely remains!

The revelation that life is more than just the here and now. That we are all moving towards that. Maybe a lot sooner than we realize. So we are aware of the sacrifice. And it does not scare us. Or maybe even if it does, we rise up to that fear. We announce to the darkness that we will not be diminished by the brevity of our lives.

I am absolutely stunned. The combination of lyrics, so on time percussion, a forward singer who keeps the move on (try to play to bass and sing) singing and collaborating with a guitarist who has been given the task to put to music, for 40 years, anothers words. Try that.

This song makes me sad.."Bravado" has always one of my favorites..but I get a bit emotional..as a part of their lyric is "if the music stops" and at the time, I thought..never! RUSH..best band ever..hopefully the "music will never stop"..and it has..my heart was broken when they "stopped"..retired..RUSH! We love and miss you..please, please come back..

One thing that's never failed to amaze me about rush is just how big their sound is, considering they're just three guys! It's a testament to their talent as musicians.

My goodness why can't more people appreciate this band!!! Absolutely nothing else like it in the whole wide world. I love the extended jammin at the end of this song.

I took this song for granted as far as studio version on roll the bones . As a live song it is one of the best songs of all time. Capped off by the best instrumental ending ever

My First Rush Album... The First of Many

You hear all the time about songs that "just don't get old"...this song not only doesn't age, it just keeps getting better every time I hear it.

Such a beautiful song. Will never tire of it...

First I saw this version of this tremendous song....and the tears flow. Again. Nobody can deliver a song the way these 3 can. One of their best!!

Bravado was played on both tours. This performance was left out of the original R30 DVD along with 7 other songs but they were all restored in the Blu-ray version.That's what this is from.

For as long as I can remember, I have been travelling all over the place to watch these masterful musicians perform live thanks to my wonderful dad raising me around such amazing, melodic, heartwarming, and kick ass music!! I am only 21 and I am proud to say I have been able and have had the privilege to see rush 27 times!! so many people in my generation of kids just don't understand the caliber of musicianship these three men play at. it simply just makes me sad!! All I can say is that I myself could never imagine a world where Rush never existed... They will live on until the end of time itself. the end of one of the most epic eras. Long live these fuckin guys man!! long live them!!

It has always been about music and family with these guys on and off the road. The clarity and definition of their notes and feel......you can visually see it in each of them. Lifeson is one of the most underrated players in the world...or at least he used to be.
