If you can play a number of Rush songs on guitar you will notice how the chord shapes are connected. Absolutely, Alex has a style all his own, the mark of a true master! Its one thing for us to be able to play his guitar work, and something else completely to conceive it. The same can be said for Geddy and Neil. I warm up by playing Rush everytime I pick up a guitar or Bass. But, with drums, I may be able to keep a beat in time. But don't even know where to start, if attempting to play anything by Neil.

I don't think the video has anything to do with Peart's cancer. The album is called "Hemispheres", and the cover shows a man in a suit and a naked ballet dancer, who are both standing on opposite hemispheres of the brain (commonly referred to as the "logical" and "creative" sides of the brain). So that's why the video shows lots of brains. And the street signs are there because of the name of a part of the song.

Vevo and KZread are quite interested in Rush in 2018. This 40-year-old song just got a fresh, high-definition concept video attached to it. You don't see too many other old musicians, singers, and artists having their old music repackaged in this way. Maybe there's something to this band's music - something that still is exciting and refreshing that can can continue to attract media giants for exploitation and profit.

I still think the solo starting at 3:35 is the greatest guitar solo in rock history. Those swells Alex does at the begining are tougher than they sound. Many people think it opens with keyboard. Nope, that's all guitar.
Every time I hear this song I cry... I've been studying music for many years and I don't understand where so much creativity and good energy can come from... I feel a brotherly love for this music...

One of the greatest rock instrumentals ever recorded! The guitar solo during "A Lerxst In Wonderland" still gives me chills! And drumming this song is quite a workout but a lot of fun to do!
That is one amazing solo! let me rephrase that: One amazing song! let me rephrase that: One amazing album! let me rephrase that: One amazing band!
No band will ever replicate anything as awesome as la villa
The pure genius from 3:40 to 5:15 is the only guitar that rivals David Gilmour's Comfortably Numb in its ability to just take me away to a special place of goofy grins and utter disbelief that such magic is capable of being produced at the hands of mortal men. Simply glorious!!

Really? How so? there's precious little connection between the video and the song. The Danforth and Pape signs are the only connection I see. There's the brain, which is on the cover of the album/CD. Seems almost entirely arbitrary.

It takes a Rush fan brain to appreciate their three brains. Clearly the guys’ calling to their fan base. We love you Dirk, Lerxst and Professor.

"Hemispheres" reminds me of Pink Floyd's "Animals" - it may not be their biggest commercial success, but it was their most self-realized playing. By the way: Pape Danforth is the address of the Toronto Library.

That thing holding the 3 brains is the very device Geddy, Neil, and Alex used to write this song. They literally had to invent a device that could unlock 100% of human brain capacity in order to learn enough about music to write this song. I'm not lying...and even if I am, it's still believable
