Even though his voice had been strained since 2000, Red sector A Geddy always sang great since the "Show of hands" tour in 1989.

I saw Rush in Santa Ana tcalif three days in a row in 1986, Amazing band! Supreme talent. During the opening song Spirit of Rado, Alex guitar string broke, and Geddy just ran over to the synthesizer and continued like nothing happened. As a guitar player I know if a string broke while I was performing I'd be freaking out.

A mixture of tone and effect on this song by Alex lifeson is just spectacular on guitar. The parts and solos hit your soul in a touching way. That clear sound is just absolutely wonderful

So many times, you hear about bands that "don't experiment live" or "don't jam" or "they play it just like the album", but you never hear that about Rush. Probably because their music is more sophisticated and harder to recreate live, and they are such perfectionists. And because the music is amazing.
