Disney should demonstrate all of its power to get the copy of the Live Aid performance of Queen, and fully restore that into 4K HDR, and let us stream in over Disney+ That would be so freaking awesome

I don't think that's possible, it was shot on tape. Max is standard def. DVD quality.

@@daviddennen7479 Film restorist can work wonders. They have many tools right now, especially those AI powdered remaster tools. I’m even betting they could even restore it to widescreen 16:9. I think its still possible with enough creativity, time and manpower

The 4K, Blu-ray, DVD, CD versions just released today. Not sure how Live Aid was restored. Maybe get Peter Jackson

@@FuzzyTank215 NO, not Peter Hackson, he does terrible remasters, he ruined the LOTR remaster and like the Get Back Documentary which cropped it's full 4:3 to a wider scan and added Noise Reduction, taking away all the film grain which made the image look like a wax painting. Montreal was shot on Film for Queen, Live Aid is most likely Upscaled.

Innuendo was able to use Disney money. I think it's only north American distribution. Not in Europe or Asia. Could of changed.

I was at that show. I was off to the left, in the blue seats, and I saw the cameras wheeling around in front of the stage. Nov. 1981.

@@ardenaudreyarji I actually remember little of it. I was dragged there by my girlfriend, I wasn't especially a fan. But I remember 2 things: the cameras moving around, and the fact they used a tape backup of the harmony parts in Bohemian Rhapsody, which went against my belief that if you can't reproduce what you do in the studio on stage, don't do it, or modify it.

I did see Queen in concert at the Montreal Forum. It must have been the end of 1980, November maybe? It was my first concert (I was 14) and it was AMAZING! I wonder which concert this one is.

As I recall, there were two nights, both shot, also 1980 I think. I saw the 1978 show, and this was the one after. Apparently, the producer wanted the band in the same stage costumes both nights for visual continuity and Freddie the diva refused.

there is a 4k uhd release of the concert + live aid remastered. queen released just yesterday a remastered bluray and 4k uhd in different aspect ratios and live aid

I was also just wondering in case if anyone here happens to know, but are these following animated TV series available to stream and watch on Disney+: Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Legend of Tarzan, House of Mouse, and The Emperor's New School? I just thought of asking just in case since I might not have been sure at first if any of those shows were available on Disney+ or not and those are all shows I used to watch back in the day when I was younger. I also remember watching the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command TV series too when I was a kid even though I've heard it's not available on Disney+, but it would be really nice though if the series ever came to the service itself next.
