Lyrics / Paroles :
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Each morning I get up I die a little
Can barely stand on my feet
Take a look in the mirror and cry
Lord what you're doing to me
I have spent all my years in believing you
But I just can't get no relief, Lord!
Somebody, somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
I work hard every day of my life
I work till I ache my bones
At the end I take home my hard earned pay all on my own -
I get down on my knees
And I start to pray
Till the tears run down from my eyes
Lord - somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me - somebody to love?
(He works hard)
Everyday - I try and I try and I try -
But everybody wants to put me down
They say I'm goin' crazy
They say I got a lot of water in my brain
Got no common sense
I got nobody left to believe
Yeah - yeah yeah yeah
Oh Lord
Somebody - somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?
Got no feel, I got no rhythm
I just keep losing my beat
I'm ok, I'm alright
Ain't gonna face no defeat
I just gotta get out of this prison cell
Someday I'm gonna be free, Lord!
Find me somebody to love
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

This is amazing. At 3:35 Brian wanders off the stage, fixing some issue with his guitar. Freddie notices at 3:40, and goes into an extended improvised vamp. From around 3:53, Brian is making what sound like tentative strums to check something? Then from around 4:10 he's vamping, and Freddie takes it as a cue to continue properly. Well, I think. It's all incredible.

An astonishing gospel-like ballad rock epic from the great Freddie Mercury, sung impeccably and amazing vocals also from Roger and with the signature Freddy and Roger synchronicity on the very last beat. Sheer power, just amazing.

Its easy to take for granted the amount of hours, physical grind and sacrifice it takes for any band to pull this off like that, no matter how talented they are.
This is my favorite live rock performance of any song ever
Can we just give some credit to Roger to not only holding the music together but being a one-man chorus
Back when the only thing needed was 4 people with real talent to put up an awesome and incredible show. No dancers. No backup singers. No fancy stages. Only 4 people.

Is it a tear or a bead of sweat? Either way --- just proves that Freddie always gave 100% during a show --- the consummate showman
Brian mays guitar wailing at the end after the thundering drumming gets me every time. Hurts the heart. You can feel the pain in the song. Such as finding someone to love them being cast away from the opposite as the feelings don't match. Looking for the answers that will never be..
The best "front man" in rock and roll history! Loud, proud, and knows how to work a crowd. QUEEN? DAMN RIGHT! Love you Freddie.

Tailor is way out of the ordinary. Just calling him a drummer is almost demeaning. This clip is one of the few that actually gave him some exposure and he is Extraordinary! Usually you just hear his drums (all the highs are his) - Most exposure is always on Freddie and Brian. Deacon usually takes a step back into the shadows. Tailor is almost a rock keeping it all together.
