Had to bring one of our girls home from camp years ago. She didn't like it. My other daughter loved it. I always liked camp myself as it was a week away from the farm work and garden work. :)

Looking good! You're close to being in the dry.

FYI. Nail fin windows are designed to be set in sealant on the head and jambs. Sill nailing fin is set without sealant to let the water run out if it gets through, which it most likely will in your case.

Just an idea but you should zip tie some pool noodles to the top of the forks. It will help give some cushion for anything fragile. Keep up the great work 👍 👏 and stay safe.

You guys are doing awesome work. I see a lot of people just slapping stuff together and wonder why its junk in 2 years. Your cabin will last a long time and the memories your kids will have will last a lifetime 👍

Make sure you use minimum expansion foam if not it will push on the sides of window-Jamba’s the windowsill not go up to easily

I used mill them together four five years for building material co my father was vise president if I went to there main factory to learn how

@@johnkidd2067 besides the 6" roll material for new windows and doors, I use the gray 3/4" butyl tape for my sailboat deck fasteners. Its a game changer!

If you go to a Anderson supply lumber yard you can order them most yards that have there own millwork shops throw tons of them away I used door for a building material co I was a millwork Forman for before opening my own kitchen and bath remodeling company

Im using a post and beam style of framing that will have board and batten siding.

Would it work to replace the pump crank with a cordless drill?

I have an electric one at my other farm im not using for th past 10 years. But haven't brought it over and hooked it up. Lazy i guess. 😆

If it had plywood sheathing I would have. But behind the tyvek is stick framing and nothing to flash to. So going with butyle tape bond.

Where's the sheathing? Aren't you concerned with racking?
