So season break starts November to boxing day when the worst weather is generally January/ February

The expanded Champions League format also adds loads of games.

A Winter World Cup just wouldn't be same like past World Cup's. Major international tournaments shouldn't be going to county's like Qatar in this world. At least my team Liverpool will have player's rest doing World Cup wth the likes of Salah, Diaz etc... Since there countries aren't qualified.

Do you not remember the anti-world cup protests by the Brazilian people before and during the tournament? Riot police were pretty heavy handed with the protesters. Everytime I listen to Simon talk about players or his opinion about players being payed so much. I cant help to think about when American basketball player(s) had an opinion about something or I think it was about Colin Kaepernick taking the knee and one of the politicians said " Shut up and dribble". To me in Simon's world players should and cant complain about anything because they are getting payed lots of money. So they must just " shut up and kick the ball".
