Start of video shows webbing, what shank did that require and did you have to use heat to melt a hole in webbing first SRA/SRG 1/4, SRA 11/64, or SRG 5/32?

No, when installing snaps in webbing you do not need to heat the hole, Just punch a hole in the webbing and insert the snap and set it.

The music is distracting and it is hard to hear the instructions over it. Hard of hearing!!

Is there any reason why your #100949 tool set wouldn't work with 1/8" thick leather?

  • @SailriteDIY

Yes, it would work great for leather that thick. The only issue is the snap barrel long enough to accommodate the thickness of the leather. Sailrite carries snaps that will work with a variety of fabric or leather thicknesses.

Terrible selection on background noise. Just leave it out and it would improve the video tremendously.
