How do you determine what the length of the zipper should be? I am making a cover for a 63Lx19.75Wx 2 inches thick bench cushion using this method.

I believe that there may be an error in the dialogue. In the section where you are cutting the boxing strips to match the length of the top plate, at 26:20 you state that the inside surfaces of the boxing should be facing inside surfaces of the top plate. I believe that it should state that the OUTSIDE surfaces should be facing each other, not the inside surfaces, as we are sewing the cushion inside-out. (??).

I watched a couple of your videos for cushions/bolsters and you use the channeling material. Why do you use channeling material, is there a functional purpose for the channels or is it purely aesthetics?

I completed my first chair thanks to your video! The seat fabric is a little looser than I would prefer. However, my seat frame is all one piece - and is a trapezoid. Plus my spreader bar does not come out (the frame is welded together, though the spreader bar will spin - just no way to remove it). It was about all I could do to get the fabric into the rails - especially that last inch that kept getting caught in the seam. I'd take out an 1/8' or 1/4" of fabric on the side if I thought I could still get the sling into the rails. Any tips that might make a difference on my next chair?

This design is not strong enough for bolt roped trampolines. I made a set of 7 Hobie cat trampolines using this method. The Shelter-rite tears off the edges in use. The trampoline mesh should be folded over to create a hem inside the Shelter-rite so the mesh fibres can't just slide off the cut edges of the fabric. It also requires 4 rows of stitching not two.

Looks more robust than the self adhesive patches but how do stop the glue from seeping through the hole and bonding the two inner surface of the mattress together at kzread.info/dash/bejne/o2WamteSfrrMmdo.html Plus, a tin of HH-66 is a good chunk of the cost of a new mattress and I suspect it has a relatively short shelf life. Now if you camp a lot, have a lot of kids and a lot of air mattresses and have to deal with leaks regularly it might be a good option, but for the rest of us maybe not.

@@SailriteDIY Ok. I thought I saw one where you were doing a white one with color trim parts and there was a lady helping with the foam patterning. I have been watching your videos over and over again for the last month. You are helping so much. I am so glad I still have your pattern making material here. I’m just starting out sewing for others so my supply list from you is growing quite rapidly. Do you still have the catalogs? I should have my business license soon. Thanks so much for your help!

Over priced snake oil by the Starbright waterproofing, it accomplishes the exact same thing and they were several other products on the market that you can buy that are way way cheaper than his crap. This is basically silicone and in a chemical and his bestest have to draw the balls to charge $100 for a gallon they could stick it where the sun don’t shine
