This week has been a wild ride. I tried and I stumbled. Sometimes it felt as if I was falling into a deep hole. I saw your hand and I grabbed it and we fell together. Then we were flying. Thank you.
Many thanks to my friends at LEWITT for the great microphone. I give it my Golden Buzzer! www.lewitt-audio.com

Everyone that is criticizing Puddles Pity Party. My husband and I drove 4 1/2 hours to see this man perform. And we would do it again in heartbeat! I have never laughed so hard and enjoyed a show so much. After the show, he stayed so that everyone in the audience could have a photo taken with him. I was blown away by his kindness to his fans. This man preformed his ass off but still posed for photos, signed things and hugged everyone that came to see him. You who attack him have no idea the pressure that he was under on a live TV stage. You have no idea what it is like for an artist to put themselves out for public critique. Your fans love you Puddles Pity Party. We need laughter, wonder and kindness in this world. Maybe your next song should be a cover of Christina Perri's "I'm Only Human". Thank you

Don't worry one wit about nay sayers... they are mired in their own muck, denigrating others to make themselves feel better. Ignore them. Enjoy life. We only get one ride and the morons we meet if negatizers - , acknowledge, ignore and move one. Love one another and screw the rest. Just my humble opinion...

I just discovered him about 15 minutes ago. My only regret is not having found him sooner. His voice is phenomenal, as is his vocal control! I've heard him sing several genres in different keys and octaves, and he is nailing everything I've heard so far. I'm glad he has many videos uploaded, because I could listen to his voice for hours!

This dude coats every song with gold with that voice. It's strange, he doesn't need original songs at all, but his renditions of existing songs makes sense. He makes them better, but not for himself, no he makes the songs more believable themselves. He adds soul to songs that already should have had enough but didn't. Some of the deepest songs get even deeper with this guy singing them. The emotions felt are nuts. Thanks Puddles, you are an artist amongst sheep.

Puddles is such an inspiration to me. I'm studying opera (etc) singing and stage performing arts, and as many autistic persons I struggle with a kind of permanent "sad face" (and lot of sad feelings due to my struggle to socialize vs. my love for the human kind)... Then I discovered wonderful Puddles and now I feel so much more confident, embrassing the sad face, and how you can also express joy and everything you want asumming it all. From the bottom of my broken heart, thank you so much dearest Puddles

His voice is one of a kind, Once in a hundred years. He needs the Puddles mask to show people what he really is. And over the years, I was always glad that my favorite artists did not fully win, because the contract would have compromised them greatly (money is great, but the contracts ruined the artists). Your incredible voice and talent was showcased on national tv. Personally, I have been listening to you for over a year. During that time, your music has helped me with the suicide of a close, close friend, a man who I considered my brother. Your music helped me, helped me during my depression, rage and constant feelings of guilt. Regardless of what some rude Englishman says on a scripted tv show, I will always hold your music close to my heart, your music and voice, are like a dear friend to me, a friend who speaks to me in beautiful tones and melody, a soundtrack for my life and you make my life so much better and so much more beautiful. Thank you Tim. I was really moved by your comment. I can only imagine how it might have impacted Puddles. He certainly deserves all your sincere praise and admiration. I have been grieving the loss of my father. He passed away from natural causes at an extremely old age but the loss for me is immeasurable. He was also my only relative. My father was a survivor of the European Holocaust and an amateur singer. I produced a CD of his singing from a recording which was made when he was 80 years old. I haven't been able to listen to it but maybe I will soon. I discovered Puddles from the Internet when his AGT audition happened to pop up, a couple of months ago. His music has helped me as well, with its authenticity and beauty. Be well.

I don't get the people who want him to lose the clown outfit. That's part of the visual pathos of his singing. Puddles is his name, Pity is the Pathos and Party is to be at a live show. As far as him doing only covers of others at this time, his versions usually destroy the originals..Check out Big Mike Grier if you want to see him in another light. Anyway that's the way I see it. Big time talent. I also don't get why people are scared of clowns. Just a person in makeup.

Puddles Dear, You did NOT stumble. You were tripped!! You won after your first audition. No act could realistically compete with the depth, versatility and originality of your talent which was too vast to be contained by the arbitrary constrictions of that show. The producers underestimated your appeal and had to work hard to undermine your intentions to try to reveal the scope of your talent. You exposed that show for the shallow manipulation that it is. You would not have been comfortable in the "mink-lined coffin" that is prepared for the winners. Some never recover. Thank you is not enough for what you give. You are obviously compelled to share yourself with such vulnerability and intimacy and we are very grateful that you do. The world is a sad place and often a literal "freak" show. You help transform the pain and confusion into something coherent and beautiful. You are demonstrating an example of using a challenge to propel yourself to the next level in your growth as an artist and human being. That is inspiring, whatever our own challenges.

As a huge fan of the original I can say I was truly surprised by this interpretation of "Losing My Religion." I didn't think Puddles could pull it off. The original is just too perfect I thought. Well this particular cover is a standalone, in it's own right. The slow baritone and the backing track give it a different depth and offer a dark sadness, rather than the energetic angst and confusion of Stipe. I'm not saying this cover is better or worse, but it certainly is more profound.
