31 years ago I bought my newborn son home from the hospital, this was the song playing when I switched MTV on, I sang the whole thing while feeding him. Now everytime I hear this song it reminds me of my firstborn son who is now a grown man with his own house, lovely memories x

I used to work in a bar in Russia, and we would play this song every time we were having a great shift. Always cheered everyone up, and this became a custom. Everyone would scream it along, and sing it when we were having drunk aftershift parties. Those days are long gone, but this song never fails to pick me up when I need it.

Nice to see a non-2020s song have over a billion views. REM is one of the all time greats.
This was my daughter's favorite band in the 80s, she taught me to love alternative and taught her about classic rock. The happiest time of my life, only tears now.
I don't know why; but this song makes me sad and happy at the same time... Like you remmember all the good things you did with a person you love so much and it makes you smile , but then you remember again that he/she is not here anymore and it makes you sad af.

Has to be one of the most inexhaustible songs of all time. I've been an R.E.M. fan since Chronic Town and have heard Losing My Religion hundreds of times and it always sweeps me up. There are very few songs that can do that.
Remembered when this song was first released in 1990s. Viewed God as a grandpa figure who I would pray to when I needed things. Lived my life as I wanted doing whatever I wanted. God showed me great mercy and helped me realize my need for a Savior. Rededicated my life to Christ and have never been the same since. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 God bless us all!!
This is timeless masterpiece.
This might just be my favourite ever song. Gives me goosebumps and somehow a full range of up and down emotions. Does anyone else feel the same?
One of the best songs written of all time in my opinion.

I will never understand these types of comments. “I’m a blue hermaphrodite and I love this song!” Okay then….
Was 7 in 91 am now turning 40 this year and I still love this beautiful song ❤
The line “oh no I’ve said too much, I haven’t said enough” is brilliant and expresses that conundrum between do I speak up (and upset people), or speak out (and try and change the world). As you get older, you learn to veer towards the latter, as I’d rather not stay silent whilst others do us harm. Speak up world. In words, actions and in music and it’s message.

@@darlapeelman1610 Dear brother, it really îs The end of The world, The sign 666, will be keeping sunday, know what im saying, îs not all adventist repent, as I dont say not all catolics or even, now practicant satanist wont redeem, many will fqll from faith, others that were decived,The entire life, will be very greatfull, and will sincerly turn to god! No în îs reedemed by his deeds, but by gods grace! Read isaias 55 and 56 and 31! If not tell this to a godfearing, but mislead and decived family or friends. You May save a soul , god works în mysterious ways! One more very important thing, The decive that The soul lives afterlife, its a lie, theres no such thing! Ecl3siast 9:4,5 "The man after death, no longer knows anything, hes wishes hes toughts are all gone,he no longer knows anything happening under The sun, even his name îs forgotten" True this idea of afterlife satan decives huge, many ways! Or if theres a purgatory then I can do whatever I want,îl bună anyways,;plus confessions I always did, ave maryas I always said, candles lițe by loved ones, imma be ok. ..... wouldnt that be convenient...! But another crazy huge răzbit he hits, îs trowing poor people, instead of going to god, The only doctor, directly to The one that caused The problem în The first place, under s-o much names, theres s-o called "spirits or energies" , crap theres just demons ,on there work of deciving even more! For exemple: ( The yoga-karma bullshit, tarot, wicca, seance, ouija table, Charlie Charlie, witchraft, horoscop, chaneling .. and s-o on) oh yeah and The first two comandemnts are totaly butchered by catolicism and ortodoxism to: I am youre god, do not have other gods, and do not worship or give prayse to anything and anyone else,do not keep idols, do not forge lokalikes, there shall be no paintings of anything în skyes or on earth :its full(The pope, priests, countless saints, pictures with Mary, angels, opulence ,cruces, dead corpses.. u name it) god bless you and youre loved ones! it really is the end of the world it is since 2000 years when jesus first came now is just at its peak, for god 1 thousand years is a second and a second is 1 thousand years! the sign 666 will be keeping sunday as day of worship! you heared me right! the 4th comandement in the ten laws is keep my sabats ,that shall be a sign between me and you, it was refering to the jews, but the bible has 100 precent actuality and 100 precent do as god said no matter the times! the godgiven day of worship the sabath is saturday not sunday! sunday was the first day of the weak, vatican and the popes changed it , claiming they have is autorityn as the pope is god on earth, ruler of heavens earth and hell! now this is the bigest blasphemy somone claiming hes god! the pope already met with all worlds leaders, political-religious-and the 1precent wealthiest people on earth the illuminatis A class luciferian puppets! they met saying they discuss the climate change problem! what happened when jesus was crucified , saying that is better for one man to die than the whole people to be in disagreement, this is text book what will happen these days, youl hear this soon enough,! as inflation and economy, the famens the climate calamities , wile keep growing in intensity, whatever they do it by harpp projects or some ar really god let to happen, as its all predicted in Daniel prophet and apocalypse! the fear the teror the need for a solution will expend, ! all this problems will be blaimed on those who refuse to worship sunday , the sign of the pope, and everything will be blamed on this few people who refuse to bow in front of vatican (sunday)! text book what happened with jesus will happen to those who refuse popes autority who claims he is god, and all this wrath is beacouse this public enemys refuse to listen to him! but lucifer was defeated in heavens, was defeated at the cruce, and will be defeated in the end! for those who understand jesuses died for all sins , and all sinners, no man is reedemed by his deeds but by gods grace, and the holy spirit who strenghtens those who care only about what the bible says , and refuse to worship a man given day! evrything is mad for people to be blind to this: "ego" "music" "brandi love", its all made to sell you a false sense of utopia and comfort, meanwille you neglect this most precious times ever on earth! i cant reply back to anything as youtube deletes my replys most of the times, even if i respond from another acount, pray and have faith , jesus is right with you, have faith! dont doubt god a second, imma pray for you to, do aswell! read ISAIAS 55 and 56 , and 31 !!! and you can find the ten comandemnts in exodus 20!
Please like those who listen to this song in 2030, I hope that we are alive and can come here and read people's comments, peace and good luck to everyone. This is a comment for future listeners.

This can only mean one thing the two Hugo Cruzs' must fight to the death. Only one Hugo Cruz can remain the ultimate Hugo Cruz.

+James Collins 😂😂😂 I don't think anyone else sees what you are doing, but I will go listen. to them now, because I think what you are doing is amazing.
Great song and one of the best, artistic videos ever made.
Now let's see how many legends are listening to this R.E.M. Song here in
Every heartbreak I endure makes this song more and more powerful to me.
This is one of many songs I never get tired of.

Wow, this song is one of my all time favorite R.E.M song. It awakens the nostalgic rock feeling of the early 90’s and brings back buried memories. This song reminds me of Kaz Bielinski’s single “Love Never Dies” and I kid you not, it brings back the same feeling! kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZKqj1cyfqaW-erA.html
