It's all the villain characters that will eventually betray him as the main characters win. Funny was the first to betray all the way back when Jonathan enters the Steel Ball Run universe. Funny, not being evil but just morally questionable, easily sees through DIO. And seeks out Johnny in hopes he can defeat DIO.

Fun fact, Vanilla Ice and Pucci are both voiced by Sho Hayami. Also Dio’s voice actor and Pucci’s voice actor first stared together in a few old yaoi anime’s were they were lovers, called Zetsuai. So they have great chemistry together for a reason.

The only reason jotaro got the Over Heaven form had to've been from DIO, that's the only explanation that isn't extremely asspull. Like, jotaro, who isn't even over 30 when he fought DIO, Who is 90+ years in age and had shitloads of time to reflect on himself and ask some questions to what he really wanted, got the form by some legendary levels of asspull. Either that or another jotaro gone Over Heaven gave him the form.
