Excal is great on De Rol for sure, especially with RAcast's ATP. I mainly wanted to show how bazookas hit almost his entire body! Thanks as always for the kind words!

Are these bonuses to status effects in Ultimate only on BB?

As far as I know it should be the same on GC/Xbox, but im not sure about v2! On BB the status boosts are only in Ultimate.

I would say you did a good job with this guide, but I think you are missing a few things. The lack of emphasis on s-rank needles like arrest or hell needle will not be helpful to new players. I think you are being too free with the choices they have for s-ranks. Your s-rank needles are very important and the fact they have no hit is a non- issue as long you are using v501/v502. The bigger issue is knowing how to properly combo with them. Also, for shots, charge arms with 50h was missing. I would also add Brightness Circle to the armor list.

I did mention the Arrest and Hell needles, ultimately for a newer player the Spread Needle will do just fine until you want to go for S-Ranks. I appreciate the lack of Hit on ES Needles might not be an issue for RAcast, but I wanted to bring it up in case people weren't aware of the limitation. As for Brightness Circle, while I didn't mention it specifically I did say that most late game armor would work fine. It is a great armor but I'm aware these videos are already very long and didn't want to extend it much longer! Charge Arms is a great call though, definitely recommend those.

I know you mentioned them, but I am saying when you were talking about s-ranks. I am saying you gave too many options for s-ranks which might be more confusing to newer players. I think arrest needle and hell needle are by far the best picks. Also, yes, I agree on spread needle being fine until you can get s-ranks.

I think when you're at the point of looking for S-Ranks there are quite a few good options for Needle. Arrest, Berserk and Hell are definitely the most used but I did want to give a few options. All a player has to do is check what specials are available and decide what's best taking their current gear in mind. Pretty much the entire game can be locked down by Frozen Shooter and Spread Needle anyway, I've always viewed the S-Ranks as something to aim for after that. Don't get me wrong, I respect the feedback but I'm just explaining my rationale for why I included certain items and not others!

I understand that, but just like you, I stand by my opinion still. Yes, Spread Needle and Frozen Shooter, I agree both weapons can get you far and can last until late game. Again, I would like to say, you keep making this about normal spread needle. Even though, you did respond to the s-rank part. I think most players who play pso would never argue against FS or SN getting you into the late game. They are 100% staples, and are great weapons that can lock down enemies. Again, my only real issue was the lack of emphasis on hell and arrest needle vs the other S-rank options. This has nothing to do with normal SN. Also, the abilty to get S-ranks for many new or casual players is very limited. Unless, they take farming and trading more serously. Or if they are lucky enough to find a c-mode group willing to go all way for a S-rank. So this is another reason for why I stand by my opinion. I would hate to see someone new get a zerk needle or a zalure gun, then see other people using an arrest needle or a hell needle. Then, these new players feel like they made the wrong choice. As for your opinion, in general about s-ranks being late game to you, this is a rabbit hole disscussion though, lol. I do disagree with you, overall. Despite the fact, I do agree sn and fs can get you into late game. Mostly, because of how many well geared pso players there are on Ephinea now. This is a completely different conversation though. Not suited for this guide though. Again, I think you did a good job with your guide. My only real complaint is S-ranks. I am looking forward to more of your guides and live streams though. Thank you, for the last sentence . At the end of day, helping new players who want to try PSO is the goal here.

I think we're never going to agree on everything here, but I do genuinely respect you weighing in on things. There's always going to be players who play the game completely differently to each other and I think this is just one of those cases! I will be open and transparent though and admit that RAcast is not a class I play often. Totally agree on the last part. The entire point of me doing these PSO videos is to show the game to those who've never tried it (or are coming back to it after a long time away) so that more people can experience what is still an absolutely incredible game.

Love RAcast but I solo a lot and the lack of buffs put me off him a bit.

They do hit very hard, but I personally think they bring more to a team rather than solo. Still a great class though, don't let it put you off trying one!

Why would the demon needle reduce when youre an android

It's just how the game works in Ultimate. Androids get a boost in effectiveness for freeze, confuse and paralysis specials but they're less effective with devils and demons specials. No real reason for it!

No problem! For your other question, Hit just adds ATA to your weapon, and the more ATA you have the easier it is to land special attacks.

Maybe the implication is that devil/demon items play off spirit/ether, which the Cast/Caseal robots lack in PSO1. Whereas something like temperature or dazzle can still work purely by mechanism.

You may be right, considering how effortless & repetitive the endgame becomes, with the right Spread gun and a few freeze traps.
