Seems like a well performing sub. Respectable scores. Dont need a lot of power to get loud. Will be a great daily sub. A single sub on 1500 amp would rock out without taxing the wallet

I just got a pair of sa v2 15s and a jp 23 .... I need another one cause then sa subs are laughing at that level power I think I need an amp per sub lol 14000 watts later whoops 😬

That's a good idea, although, it would be most important to not JUST do peak SPL in that round-up. Of course include it as part of the test but also do SPL in a daily box at varying frequencies. I'll suggest it to Derrick.

You got a new sub right here. I really like what you guys are doing and hopefully some day soon I can purchase either a single sub or maybe a pair. I’m a disabled combat veteran with two teenage daughters and a son who will be 2 in July. I went to high school in the 90’s and of course had a system because that was popular back then. I recently discovered that my son really enjoys listen to music hip hop and anything with hard hitting bass so I saved a little money and bought a 12” Pioneer sub and a 300w rms Boss amp that has a CEA rating. I built a ported box for my Nissan Frontier king cab and my little guy loves it. He can’t wait to go riding every day when he wakes up. I’m ready to get something a lot better than what I’ve got but money is an issue. Keep up the great work guys!

Audio apex sells refurbished sundown subs and you can also upgrade them.

I am get me 4 of those I have a few the reg sa-15s I have turning people onto sundown for the last two years the people that don't have the money to spend try to go with this junk that everybody is talking about like the k9s and everything else but I have told them and showed them what my E-Series in the sa series can do I have changed about 30 people over to sundown I am so done sundown I WILL NOT have any other subs in my ride looking forward to get my hands on the new NEO'S I would like to get one or two just to play around with keep up the great work you doing love to see more about all the accessories wire lugz busbars shrink wrap more of everything you guys sale

Will the new sa-15 be optimized for sealed enclosures like the previous model, which was happy in a sealed environment. Will the t/s parameters be close enuff for a drop in kinda thing to replace the previous model in the same sealed box? If that makes sense. Lol. Thanks.

That’s the most serious magnet I have seen on any sub and that design is just beautiful! What s freaking waste of a bombass subwoofer. You might want to check that coil former on that guy. It is most likely distorted after that harsh test. What a sub that can take that licking and still go. That’s a hell sub, no question!🤘
