Super cool to see the effects of Sound Pressure on a soft sphere! I think a mini-series should be made of these! Colored fog from a fog machine, bubbles! Maybe somehow get an aquarium in there with different colored liquids or different viscosities of liquids to see how a few burbs would mix the liquids! Or magnetic sand on a big metal sheet? the list goes on!

One of the coolest demos we used to do with the shops demo car (20 22” V walled in Impala station wagon) was throw a full newspaper up on the dash & close the door….. then watch it get absolutely shredded in seconds. Made a mess but really conveyed the power of the system.

Back in the early 90s had 4 12s and 2 15s Hitting 148db US amps(bass) vl 400 and vl 200(highs and mids).It's crazy how car audio has come.

It really has changed a lot since the 90s. I hit 143.8 from a single X-12 d2 v2 in a trunk build in a car that the rear seat doesn’t fold down.

Holy shit bro that's alot of power going to just two subs.there's no doubt about it.sundown is absolutely the best you can get.i really want to do a crazy ass sundown system in my 93 foxbody mustang with either 4 18's or 6 12's n a few salt 12's but that's gonna take alot of saving lol.it would be an absolute dream tho to work for sundown especially if I got my car done so I could go to the shows n represent for sundown.that honestly would b an honor.hell I'd even work for yall for free at first just to show my appreciation n love n passion for car audio.anyways I live in Charlotte so if I ever get my mustang done I will definitely b in hickory for the sundown show n make sure yall see it n personally thank yall for all the amazing ass car audio products yall make.one thing is for sure.no one n I mean no one will ever ? In a fox body, you'll be able to fit 4 12s at most depending on what enclosure you do. Anything more you'd be pushing it.

So i have a question. My buddy and i both have 4 door sierra trucks. He recently dropped a system in his. Made a dual 12" sub under seat box for the back seats. He installed 2 12" skar audio subs with amp and claims its better than sundown. I, being the competetive person i am, want to kill it with sundown which i recently starting liking veey much. What can i get to compete with his system? He has a Skar RP-1200.1D amp and 2 VD-12 D2 shallow subs. It sounds very badass. But i need mine to sound badasser! Please help me out. I have two X15s on low power. I’d say the most you could get is 150db on a burp.

They’re very good subs for lows, they don’t have an SPL cone so they dont insane numbers on the meter

Dang I wish I would have known about that show lol. I live in Marshall NC it wouldn't be that far of a drive for us 😂. I gotta question. How loud is the sundown van itself?? I know the neo subs are louder than the nightshades or am I wrong? Regardless both subs are insane :). If y'all ever are in the area of Greeneville TN n Weaverville NC / Madison county NC. I deff would love to see either of em. It would be cool to have y'all sign my Sundown Sav3 8"s or my X8"s depending on which subs are in the car at the time :) . I bought a quad box for my Sav3 8"s from Down4sound a while back and I got a ground shaker enclosure for em as well but I believe I'll just use my X8"s in it because I ordered two of the refurbished ones online and bought a used one on market place as a backup but I possibly may end up getting a fourth Xv2 8". So far I like the SAv3 8" over the Xv2 8". But both are hella nice

Hello Darick my names mark, I have a question for you sir,I fill like my jeep should be slapping harder then it is maybe you can help me, I have 2016 jeep Cherokee trailhawk edition, 8.4 oem headunit, I have the lc7i line output converter, I have the green load generators by audio control cause my Cherokee is non premium amplified system, I have the 8000.1 sundown audio sfb pushing 2 twelve inch sa-d2 sundown audios and I have the 1000.4 sfb audio for mids tweets, up from 0 gauge certified bass head ofc wire, exsesive amperage alternator 390 amps and finally 3 d3400 xs power batteries, my systems bumps but watching all these KZread videos, there guys that have same woofers smaller amp,and there stuff is slapin,let me know what you think,and what can I do different to be up there with the big boys lol thank you

In spl cars there need to be a lot of strong flat surfaces for sound waves to bounce off of without having it be lost to vibration so reinforcement and flat surfaces are how they’re able to do 170 with band pass also the entire back of the car so a bigger box and reinforcing your car is all I can really say

Man u gonna love them, if it don't break your roof😂. I've always had some sorta 12s etc for 15-20yrs now and got a sa-v2 15inch and holy shit does it slam with 1500 watts to it. But i can tell I'm not beating it up nearly as bad as i could either. Had it about 6weeks and its still stiff asf too.
