This guy really focus on wht is useful for others

One thing to consider is that you don't have to use all that space for taking notes. You can have KZread, an eBook, or PDF open on side while taking notes on the other. I do split screen note taking with my smaller tablets and it's just not as good. The Ultra loses big time on portability though and you can't comfortably use it off the table.

@@skadoss current use: Kindle app on the left, ChatGPT app on the right. One day Kindle will have this built in, but for now this works.

Having used the S8 ultra as a student for a little over one year. I've experienced most of the things mentioned here.

I hesitate between s9 plus and s9 mainly for note taking. I m used to a5 note sheet. And a4 seems too big for my use

How does the writing experience compare against ipad pro, personally - for ipad pro - i feel that writing experience is slightly uncomfortable due to (a) thicker pen (b) hard nib (or tip as some would call it). What is your opinion?

Writing performance is good. I wouldn’t say it’s better but it’s different. S Pen is lighter, and you have option of hard and soft nib.

Picked up an S8+ for digital drawing and note taking and I gotta say palm rejection is NOT perfect. IDK if palm rejection is done system-side or application-side, but so far I've tried Samsung Notes, Clip Studio Paint and Infinite Painter, and all of them have those moments where they pick up my palm and jerk the canvas. Best one in this regard is probably Infinite Painter. I sort of solved the issue by buying one of those artist gloves, but I'm not going to put it on every time I want to write something down because it's a hassle. Overall it's cool, but still I'm a bit disappointed that the note-taking experience isn't as issue-free as real pen and paper.

120Hz will have less latency, e.g. less gap as the line is catching up with the pen tip. BUT a lot will depend on whether the app is running at 120Hz. Many apps run at 60Hz on a 120Hz display so you don't really get the improved latency

Great video but the s9 ultra for note taking is too big, that's like bringing a canvas with you to doodle 😀

I have a Tab 7+ it still works fine! maybe I'll upgrade next year..

Can't make my mind about switching back to ipad pro Those devices have monstrous cpus and app support But Can't get over that I have samsung ecosystem and will have to pay a lot of money to change all devices

The trouble I have understanding the flip covers for privacy or note taking is that I have to choose between either privacy or note taking. I'd rather apply a stick-on for one function and use the flip like for the other. It is my understanding that I can't use both together or one of them with official keyboard case. Can someone confirm this?

Man i wish tablet manufacturers like apple and samsung made tablets on paper sizes. If you had to choose between this and an apple wich would you buy?

For note-taking, 12.4-inch is more than big enough. Even 11-inch is big for note-taking.

GoodNotes on Android is lacking many features compared to the iPad version. I recommend you check out Nebo instead which is a one time purchase.

The one thing i found difficult with the ultra form factor is being able to type using the onscreen keyboard with your thumbs even when using the portrait orientation. Much more manageable on a smaller screen or iPad form factor. And for the size, i wish Samsung would alllow the Ultra for 4 windowed apps natively rather than the 3+1 pop out (even though Dex makes this redundant).

@@reverend_wintondupree I'm not sure, I don't have any Tab myself, but I've seen way too many videos. They split the keyboard into two parts so the keys come closer to your thumbs. Not sure if it's resizable.

​@@teohontech7141 Talking about Huawei, a review of the Matebook E 2023 Edition will be great. Looking forward to see the inking performance on that 120 Hz tablet. It also have a more convenient keyboard with detachable kickstand and 2 USB-C ports which where almost all flaws of 2022 edition.

I prefer the drawing experience here, but Surface Pro runs Windows and Windows is way more versatile than Android OS. Ultimately it will depend on the app you use.

The Display tab S9 Ultra have best quality.. Color white is perfect compared others

@@lzamy5585 No. Goodnotes is missing many features. I'll make a video comparing this with GoodNotes 5 and Samsung Notes soon. The company is charging USD 29.99 one time or USD 9.99/year for iPad version, and USD 6.99 version for Android. If you decide to stop paying in the future, the question is will you lose your notes.

Wifi 6e NOT supported. For a decent pad like this, wifi 6e is a must. A shame it does not fully support it. For the price wifi 6e has to be rectified before I purchase this Ultra S9 tab. Overall I like it.
