S9 Plus personally. Unless you have a regular type book cover: Screen protector! I can't stress enough how much stress this will take away. (Untill the definitive Tab S9 series protectors are available, most of the previous gen. ones will fit too.) And an extra tip, the S Pen, while it only charges on the back, can also be magnetically attached to the top side of the tablet for convenience.

S9 one, could be bigger but those 1,7 Inches or whatever arent worth the 200$.. but 11 are also just fine and im totally happy

S9+ is the sweet spot not too big and not small. Luckily in my country it was on sale and only around 50 dollars difference between s9 and the plus (as i was looking for 12gb ram) so definitely chose the plus.

Thanks for the upload Alex. S9 for me. Though I like to watch movies at bedtime I also read pdfs with the tablet on my lap. I was thinking the + may be a tad too big for this. I could have settled for the FE but I really wanted the omeled display.

I'm a bit late to the party but I got myself the Ultra, since I'll be using it for school and when traveling as a laptop and not really a tablet. I also got myself a portable second screen, dex mode is a beast after all

Honestly i wouldn't disable or speed up any animation or transparency and stuff. It makes the Tablet feel not smooth

Not on Ta S9. Same with S23. S22 was horrible, although Tab S8 workshop quite wellness without animations.

ive had it on my s22 ultra for over a year now and switching it back to normal 1x makes the phone feel so much slower

Many of the Amazon cases made for s8-ultra will fit the s9-ultra. I ordered a Fintie case which was made for s8-ultra. They had updated the product page in photos to say it would fit s9-ultra, but the title does not mention the s9 ultra. The case arrived today and fits great. It is a multiple angle portfolio case with pocket . There is a flip over lap which shields the pen from falling out. I bought the navy with black trim. Has visible stitching which I love.

The s8u case will fit the s9u, but the camera cutouts don't match up, or the speaker cutouts as well. Minor compatibility issues.

Very helpful video. The s pen left behind feature is not available on S9FE because the s pen is passive i. e. It does not need charging.

If you change the animation speeds you can have a glitchy experience with some apps and it actually doesn't make the device faster, just looks like it had too much caffeine.

Love my new S9.. question: why is there a phone app resident? Can i use it somehow? Im wonderi g about hoing to my cell provider & somehow having a Sim card installed?

How do you get the screen off memos feature to work like that? For me i have to hold the pen button and tap the screen twice. But i was messing around with the setting and now its not working at all.

Under s pen settings, I only have 'Sounds'. I can't see any of the other features like the warming that you've left your s pen behind. Am I doing something wrong?

I put on a glass screen protector, from Shein, and then anti glare screen protector from Samsung over top. The anti glare protector is just a thin plastic sheet. You can also get a matte glass screen protector. Wouldn't recommend paperlike stuff for the s-pen.

just got a 9ultra was following your tips was good until; the auto optimizing in security it's not there on my tab..

Luddite here. Thanks for the video. Just got talked into the s9 fe 5g. Went into Verizon to get battery for fone. Walked out with new phone & tab. First a female "c" to male micro adapter. Then I'll be watching this again.

How would you compare the performance and battery to the prior tab s8? I have it and I love it except the battery and performance are insufficient sometimes. Also I feel this is the best tablet this year and the best Samsung product

Pretty good. It lasted me about two full days on power saving mode(which limits cpu to 70%) for day-to-day tasks. Definitely better than the old snapdragon gen1 used in s8.

I have the regular S9 tablet and there is no flashlight and no feature to secure the s-pen from being lost. Disappointed. I’m assuming these features are available on the S+ and S Ultra versions.

Does reducing the animation not cause any problems on the battery?

In S 6. There is video cutting feature .so does s 9 reflect its predecessor al features

Why my "palm swipe to capture" gesture not working in my tab s9 ultra? I already enable it.

Ordered mine with a trade-in last night. Picking it up in store tomorrow. Hoping for improvements other than the announced new features.

@@TangySeedling Tbh, it's good but I can't say that I recognize any significant differences. Could be I don't fully utilize it enough of its features. All in all it does what I need and I am good with that...for now. If my needs change I will learn whether or not I can utilize it further.

The screen off screen memos does not seem to work properly with the latest update. Whenever I detach the pen with the screen locked, the screen lights up and asks for my password to unlock it
